Cropwellfox Posted 8 May 2011 Posted 8 May 2011 Assuming Naughton starts next season in London, either for the Spurs or QPR, Billy Jones from PNE wouldn't be a bad shout.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 8 May 2011 Posted 8 May 2011 If we're after a right back, what about Steven Whittaker from Rangers? I'd fancy him to do well at this level, to be honest, likes to attack.
MrAus Posted 8 May 2011 Posted 8 May 2011 I think we should look at West Broms players!! Simon cox?? Jerome Thomas?? Tchoyi??? Barnes?? Think either of the last 3 would give us a great width!! Yakubu needs signing if hes available for 2 million, thats a bargain!! Faye on a free would add some experience!! Maybe sign Tamir Cohen aswell for abit of competition in the middle of the park! Westwood definitely!!
Superpants82 Posted 8 May 2011 Posted 8 May 2011 its on twitter just now that shay given is pretty much a done deal ? @Watkins85
Ozwin Posted 8 May 2011 Posted 8 May 2011 I would weep tears of joy if we got Enyeama. He's been an FM legend for as long as I can remember and it'd be weird having a goalkeeper score our penalties.

LeeTheFox Posted 8 May 2011 Posted 8 May 2011 Does anyone like Lewis McGugan? and do you think he would join us? i personally think hes one of the best in his position in the championship!
SMX11 Posted 9 May 2011 Posted 9 May 2011 Does anyone like Lewis McGugan? and do you think he would join us? i personally think hes one of the best in his position in the championship! Yes and No.
Simmo86 Posted 9 May 2011 Posted 9 May 2011 Portuguese bloke at work who supports Benfica reckons we want Rodders on loan next season. Not saying its going to happen but thats what he said!
Wymsey Posted 9 May 2011 Posted 9 May 2011 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D1vdMT_ec5A if there one person that Sven Goran Eriksson should get next season its Nigerian "goal stopper" Vincent Enyeama. http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://cache.daylife.com/imageserve/07N7aak4x8cAV/610x.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.daylife.com/photo/07N7aak4x8cAV&usg=__5SwociQPiqHwTBWkPO0Kn2HzJLc=&h=387&w=610&sz=90&hl=en&start=0&zoom=1&tbnid=s2wT2Z6GAR4-LM:&tbnh=111&tbnw=175&ei=jt7FTYm8FMu4hAe2pKSVBA&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dvincent%2Benyeama%2Bsave%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26safe%3Doff%26biw%3D1560%26bih%3D848%26tbm%3Disch0%2C15&um=1&itbs=1&iact=rc&dur=469&page=1&ndsp=40&ved=1t:429,r:8,s:0&tx=118&ty=61&biw=1560&bih=848 He is quality Ambitious Vincent, but I bet there's many scouts of different clubs looking at him too.
Vincent Enyeama Posted 9 May 2011 Posted 9 May 2011 He is quality Ambitious Vincent, but I bet there's many scouts of different clubs looking at him too. yer that were the problem could be, for instance last year west ham and aston villa were both looking to sign him but no transaction was made. but we could try.
kingfox Posted 9 May 2011 Posted 9 May 2011 That Enyeama is quality, too ambitious though. Westwood/Sorensen, Naughton Mee Cunningham A massive centre back Davies and Bamba mould Kebe or Gera Danns or Bullard Goodwillie, Graham, Maynard or Yakubu

Aorton6 Posted 9 May 2011 Posted 9 May 2011 Goalkeeper - Westwood Right Back - Naughton Left Mid - Scott Sinclair.. providing they dont get promoted otherwise we have no chance Striker - Yakubu
MikeyT Posted 9 May 2011 Posted 9 May 2011 The season has been over 2 days and i can't believe the amount of rumours that have been posted already in the Transfer Talk thread.
harryboi72 Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 Gareth Mcauley and David Norris(i think it was him) are to leave Ipswich this summer due to having not agreed new contracts, would any of you take either of these at Leicester???
harryboi72 Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 Nope. Mcauley is alright still i think but dunno if he would be good enough for us now
CloudFox Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 Westwood Bertrand (Loan) - Perhaps not possible considering his close proximity to the first team at Chelsea lately, but if someone comes in to replace Ancelotti, who knows? Naughton - If we can't buy him, then possibly a loan? Seems increasingly unlikely with QPR sniffing about, but if not, then perhaps Clyne? Huddlestone (Loan?) - Ridiculous as the rumours seem, most of us would love this guy here, if only on a loan. Yakubu Kamara Mee - Buy if possible, I doubt he's going to get much of a look-in now at Man City with their line-up of CBs. Cunningham - Again, buy if possible, similar situation to Ben Mee. I personally wouldn't mind seeing this team line-up for us next season Yakubu - Kamara KingWellens ---- GallagherHuddlestoneBertrand – Tunchev – Bamba – Naughton/Clyne WestwoodSubs: Weale, Mee, Cunningham, Vassell, Schlupp, Waghorn, Abe. 4-4-2 Diamond Formation, giving Yakubu some much need support up top, King linking up with the front two, some creativity/dead-ball specialism in the Wellens+Gallagher, and Huddlestone protecting the back four as the two wing-backs bomb forward. Our bench should actually feel fairly strong too, with Abe able to fit into pretty much anywhere in our midfield,as well as the 3 strikers all with decent pace and work rate (the latter except perhaps Schlupp or so I hear haha?).
paddy Agyemang Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 Has been released from Hull city today and i think he could be a good player if given the chance as he reminds me of Giles Barnes which both have great pace
Rocky Dennis Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 Has been released from Hull city today and i think he could be a good player if given the chance as he reminds me of Giles Barnes which both have great pace No Ta
bald reynard Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 Has been released from Hull city today and i think he could be a good player if given the chance as he reminds me of Giles Barnes which both have great pace The Tigers fan I was talking to today (see my post about Myhill & Hobbs in 'Speculation - players linked with'), says Fagan is c**p and would be lucky to go to a League 1 club (with a 'Jock' club, a more likely destination).

shiv Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 Has been released from Hull city today and i think he could be a good player if given the chance as he reminds me of Giles Barnes which both have great pace Isn't Barnes a midfielder and Fagan a striker?
