Carlos9 Posted 12 May 2011 Posted 12 May 2011 I wouldnt be happy if we got John Pantsil. I would like to see some fresh faces who are dominating the lower english divisons though...
vandamman Posted 12 May 2011 Posted 12 May 2011 I think we should sign Adam Le Fondre from Rotherham. Doesn't show much ambition but all this lad knows what to do is to put the ball in the back of the net! A good squad player to have in my opinion, however, if we keep waggeh not much point in signing him. But a cheap alternative to some of the names that have been banded around.
Adster Posted 12 May 2011 Posted 12 May 2011 Caicedo's a BEAST, i'd love him here! He's a beast for my Leicester team on FIFA
Father Ted Posted 12 May 2011 Posted 12 May 2011 Ali Al-Habsi First choice goalkeeper. (From Bolton) Paintsil or Gretar Steinson right back. Vitor Mee Ricardo Gardner or Paul Konchesky Tom Huddlestone or Nenad Milijas Milan Jovanovic Yakubu/Piquionne/Borini/Fuller
dorsetfox Posted 12 May 2011 Posted 12 May 2011 always been a big fan of wright phillips, the guy is getting no games for man city and with his links with sven and wanting to play football should we put in a cheeky bid of a few million or even go for a loan ?
shiv Posted 12 May 2011 Posted 12 May 2011 A couple more thoughts on Kyle Naughton - if Neil Warnock went to West Ham, he would probably still want him and I think we could have the edge in that scenario, also, I may be adding 2+2 and getting the wrong answer, but if Sven was talking to Tom Huddlestone the other day with a view to him coming to Leicester it would make far more sense if there were a recommendation from Kyle Naughton to Huddlestone and we were going to have them both. Didn't we establish that Huddlestone was just meeting an old team-mate?

80footgiraffe Posted 12 May 2011 Posted 12 May 2011 There are these guys who we should sign, literally for the amazing names: Reuben Noble-Lazarus (Barnsley) Kevin Theophile-Catherine (Rennes, France All jokign aside, both of these are actually pretty good young players. YOUNG being the operative word. SIGN EM UP!
Bugg Posted 12 May 2011 Posted 12 May 2011 Craig Dawson anyone? Chips in with a fair few goals from defence and is also a great player.
LeeTheFox Posted 12 May 2011 Posted 12 May 2011 Seeing as sven says theres no limit, heres the team id love to see Westwood Naughton Bamba Vitor Konchesky Kebe King McGugan Townsend Yakubu Graham Very ambitious and it wont happen i know!
Spiritwalker Posted 12 May 2011 Posted 12 May 2011 I've just watched Nathan Dyer against Forest. He always causes us problems and he was outstanding tonight. If Swansea don't go up he would be well worth a shout.
ROS5 Posted 12 May 2011 Posted 12 May 2011 Nathan Dyer is definatly a good shout, looking quality tonight his allround play looked good, and looked a real threat. would be a great signing for us. Only if swansea dont go up though !!
CosbehFox Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 Craig Dawson anyone? Chips in with a fair few goals from defence and is also a great player. Already WBA's player.
Adster Posted 14 May 2011 Posted 14 May 2011 Hoilett from Blackburn! Just about to say that, after he put in an amazing cross
Leicester Bean Posted 14 May 2011 Posted 14 May 2011 Hoilett would tear the championship apart, and Olsson!
Adster Posted 14 May 2011 Posted 14 May 2011 And they'd come here why?! And that's why it's called the 'Who Would You Buy' thread.
Webbo Posted 14 May 2011 Posted 14 May 2011 First time I've even looked at this thread so forgive if this has already been said but for me Patrick Viera ticks all the boxes. A marquee signing for the owners, an experienced head to help the young players, a bit more depth in midfield and some leadership.

A marquee signing for the owners, an experienced head to help the young players, a bit more depth in midfield and some leadership. Probably has been mentioned, but I agree and I think it would be feasible too with them probably wanting to shift him out as they're in the Champions League and our relationship with them. Come on Sven, make it happen! :sge:
Sniffer-Clarke Posted 14 May 2011 Posted 14 May 2011 Hoilett would tear the championship apart, and Olsson! Same was said of the Yak !!
bmt Posted 14 May 2011 Posted 14 May 2011 Hoilett would tear the championship apart, and Olsson! Same was said of the Yak !! Higher than 1 in 2 scoring rate!!! Although that is all he does to be fair .......
sdb Posted 15 May 2011 Posted 15 May 2011 And that's why it's called the 'Who Would You Buy' thread. what?! so it doesn't have to be realistic? what a pointless thread in that case, and why isn't everyone just saying Messi and Xavi instead? Screw Naughton, i'd like Dani Alves please. Come on Sven, for christ sake!
JoeS Posted 15 May 2011 Posted 15 May 2011 I'd like dirty Leeds' sanchez watt please Get him on the wing!
