Spudulike Posted 2 May 2011 Posted 2 May 2011 Normally wouldn't even notice but given the Holloway abuse some of their 'fans' gave us a couple of seasons ago I'll not be crying myself to sleep tonight. What goes around.....
Jonezy Posted 2 May 2011 Posted 2 May 2011 The Bittermouth brigade were really annoying at the time, but now I just feel pity. How things change.
Fox92 Posted 2 May 2011 Posted 2 May 2011 Southampton promoted (not officially, but near enough). I wanted Huddersfield to nick 2nd but it was never going to happen
Kitchandro Posted 2 May 2011 Posted 2 May 2011 I suppose they do deserve a bit of stick. Though I'm more pleased about Cardiff bottling it again
Guest Bilo Posted 2 May 2011 Posted 2 May 2011 I do remember their fans spaffing themselves when we went down and they were supposedly preparing for a play-off push in the Championship. Hope they enjoy their journeys to Crawley and Aldershot next season.
gazfox9 Posted 2 May 2011 Posted 2 May 2011 ha ha. can't say I'm too sorry either. and they've been a bit of a bogey side for us, so another few seasons before we see them again hopefully!!
Wymsey Posted 2 May 2011 Posted 2 May 2011 General thread? Do feel sorry for Plymouth fans over the past few seasons. Well done to the Saints, deserve to go up. (Now very likely to)
PegguyArphexad Posted 2 May 2011 Posted 2 May 2011 Glad Saints are on the up! ...although they might be a challenge to our promotion push next season. I must say that I feel a little for Plymouth, it will be difficult to pick themselves up from where they are now. Will be throughly depressing to know that Crawley have more money than them and are likely to finish higher in the table than them next season...
MC Prussian Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 I bet Carlisle fans will be happy no longer having to drive all the way down to Home Park. Look on the bright side: Southampton are in the Championship next season alongside Brighton, so that's at least two trips to the South Coast already booked (provided they're on weekends and early on in the schedule or coming up towards the end). Oh, and I haven't been Portsmouth yet. So make that three. Still a bit undecided whether I'd like to see Huddersfield go up, with Bournemouth we could get a quadruple treat.
Matt Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 Bournemouth please. Lovely, Blackpool, Brighton, Bournemouth () Hopefully one of them falls on a bank holiday
Simmo86 Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 Bournemouth please. Lovely, Blackpool, Brighton, Bournemouth () Hopefully one of them falls on a bank holiday Poster on Bentleys reckons Leicester are on a list of clubs banned from playing games at Seaside destinations in the Summer and on Bank Holidays
ScouseFox Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 Where are the Plymouth invaders now? Invading the boards of Oxford, Crawley, Stevenage etc.
tartanowl Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 Putting mouthy idiots aside I genuinely feel for their real fans. They may be in the position soon of not having a football club to support. That to me is unthinkable. I hope things work out for them.
