shen Posted 7 June 2011 Posted 7 June 2011 Tickets Tickets go on sale on the first week in June at www.ticnet.se, www.stockholmfootballtrophy.com and through the official Hammarby Supporter Store at Hornsgatan 98. Foreign guests, please contact Tomas Ehrling for match ticket reservations. Price: 190 Swedish Krona (20€) each match and ticket. That's bloody steep for a friendly!
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 7 June 2011 Posted 7 June 2011 Wish that the Kettering friendly wasnt a LCFC XI as it would be a decent game otherwise and they may have got a good crowd there. Still hoping for some more local games too.

ScouseFox Posted 18 June 2011 Posted 18 June 2011 So from that link Babs posted, it's us, Valencia, PSV and "an unknown other" in Austria? If that's true we're rolling with the big boys this summer.

Yeah from what I can see, I'm only on my phone though. Seen loads of valencia tweets about it in the last hour or so.
ozleicester Posted 18 June 2011 Posted 18 June 2011 meh, Real Madrid, Valencia, PSV.. glory hunting clubs just want to play against Leicester
davieG Posted 24 June 2011 Author Posted 24 June 2011 Please note concerns have been expressed regarding actual dates and games although the information is unconfirmed and vague you might want to wait before making any bookings see - http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=72772&view=findpost&p=1897625
davieG Posted 24 June 2011 Author Posted 24 June 2011 Worthy of a new thread IMO. Perhaps when it's confirmed it's in the two most relevant topics and I think if you had booked or were interested you'd look in those.
docho66 Posted 25 June 2011 Posted 25 June 2011 Leicester will play Valencia at The Walkers Stadium on the 23rd July, 2011. (Don't ask me how I know, I just do! ) Inside sources have told me they have booked a very nice hotel in Leicester, which confirms this date for the schedule... so not in the Stockholm tournament! another Spanish giant in Leicester! =D

MC Prussian Posted 30 June 2011 Posted 30 June 2011 Pre-Season Tour Continues In Austria Posted on: Thu 30 Jun 2011 Fixtures against Spanish giants Valencia and Turkish side Bursaspor have been added to City's exciting pre-season schedule, as Sven-Goran Eriksson's squad continue their preparations for the new campaign at the Kaernten Cup in Austria. Following a nine-day tour of Eriksson's native Sweden next month, the Foxes will fly south for a five-day programme in the Austrian state of Carinthia, competing with Valencia, Bursaspor and PSV Eindhoven in a four-team tournament. City will face Bursaspor, the 2010 Turkish champions, at the Stadion Villach-Lind in Villach on July 20, before meeting six-time Spanish champions Valencia in the SV Wernberg Stadium in Wernberg on July 23. The Foxes squad will then return to the UK the following day ahead of the summer's landmark home friendly against Real Madrid on Saturday July 30, followed by the start of the npower Championship season on August 6. The two new additions to the pre-season schedule will be valuable tests of Eriksson's squad ahead of their tilt at promotion to the Premier League next season. Bursaspor reached the group stages of last season's Champions League, where they competed against finalists Manchester United, Rangers and tournament rivals Valencia, while securing a third-place finish in their domestic league. They will be competing in the UEFA Europa League during 2011/12. Valencia, meanwhile, will be preparing for another season of Champions League football, having finished third in La Liga during 2010/11 behind, Barcelona and Real Madrid. It was an impressive showing from Los Che, for whom Spain internationals David Albelda and Vicente remain prominent figures. Tickets for both games will only be available from the host venues on the day of the game. All dates and fixtures are subject to change.

Nothing like a few confidence boosters against lesser opposition Shame we aren't playing Hammarby and PSV in the tournaments though.
