TrentFox Posted 7 August 2011 Posted 7 August 2011 I can see Southampton being the surprise contenders, they completely out played Leeds last night I think Nigel Adkins teams have played some of the best football I've seen at the Walkers, (as it was when this happened), in recent years. He's a smart guy and he will be interesting to watch now he's got some resource behind him. Before we changed 'gears' under the new owners, I was keen to see him here with us !

The same can be said for all the CCC contenders,bar our good selves that is! Apart from the depth side of things Ipswich have a formidable team.

Callabinho Posted 11 August 2011 Posted 11 August 2011 Personally I don't thinks its got anything to do with Bert or his contact, I thinks it has something to do with the fact we are so desperate to get a new striker in, that names and bid's are flying around everywhere.
