Alex Black Posted 7 June 2011 Posted 7 June 2011 I found this article on a portuguese website, apparently it was published this morning (7.6.2011) I used google translate which has provided this : "Swede spoke Saturday with Luis Filipe Vieira and Rui Costa in the Light during the game selection. SAD open to the possibility of new loan to Leicester, England. Sven-Goran Eriksson has asked the new loan from Benfica Miguel Vítor to Leicester City. The Swede took the presence in the presidential tribune Stadium of Light on Saturday on the occasion of Portugal, Norway, and talked with Luis Filipe Vieira and Rui Costa on various topics, one of which dealing in the continuity of central England. The SAD will have demonstrated openness to new lending from central, on loan, similar to that seen in 2010/11. Jorge Jesus does not seem to have the defense formed the club, while Eriksson has shown for more than one occasion, which plans to have the center 21 years to tackle the ascent to the Premier League in 2011/12, after the failed assault on the season now ended - former coach of Benfica grabbed the team with the season underway, after replacing Paul Sousa as coach of Leicester." A Bola << link to the site if anyone speaks portuguese Personally i'd like to see Vitor back at the club. He was a bit up and down but has potential. I'd much rather see him back at the club instead of Bruma.
DanTheFox07 Posted 7 June 2011 Posted 7 June 2011 Agreed! Vitor is a young talent with much potential and no doubt will not have as many injuries if we were to get him on loan again! deffo would like to see him back!
Liamlcfc1 Posted 7 June 2011 Posted 7 June 2011 Hope we get him back great defender and scores goals too
ScouseFox Posted 7 June 2011 Posted 7 June 2011 I'd love Vitor back. But from what I can make sense of, that article just says we've asked, which is pretty obvious. Hope it happens though.

I'd much rather see him back at the club instead of Bruma. Vitor is quality...i agree I'd rather see him back that Bruma. In fact I'd be glad to see him back, whereas I'd be pissed off if Bruma came back. I would personally like to thank Google Translate for such a comical effort at translating this article. The paragraph that starts "... Jorge Jesus does not seem to have the defense formed the club..." nearly made me cry. Seriously thou, good find mate, nice research
AdamN Posted 7 June 2011 Posted 7 June 2011 Would be delighted to see him back. A quality Championship defender, who should be fit for the Premier League with a bit more experience. If we can get him on loan for a second time, and get promoted next season, I'd fancy our chances to sign him permanently.
Corky Posted 7 June 2011 Posted 7 June 2011 Would like to see him back and hopefully play more often.
Father Ted Posted 7 June 2011 Posted 7 June 2011 Please please please can our centre-back partnership next season be Vitor and Mee. With Tunch, Bamba and Parkes as back up! I would be more than happy.
MikeyT Posted 7 June 2011 Posted 7 June 2011 I concur with everyone here. Great defender who will surely only get better. Would love him back here.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 7 June 2011 Posted 7 June 2011 Ahead of any other deals potentially lined up I want this one to be a done deal more than anything.
Callabinho Posted 7 June 2011 Posted 7 June 2011 I agree, on his day he could well be the best in the league!
city4lyf Posted 7 June 2011 Posted 7 June 2011 and this one posted a little before but on same site!! http://www.abola.pt/nnh/ver.aspx?id=264520 Translated: Back in Portugal, after having been during the season on loan at Leicester, Miguel Vítor revealed that it can continue at the club. Back to Benfica, with whom the contract for two more seasons, if only out to be a valid option. "The time I ran very well, despite having had some bad luck, especially some injuries. But that apart, it was a positive experience, I played regularly and people told me they want me to go there to leave Benfica, "the central defender, who this afternoon was godfather to a game of solidarity in Torres Vedras . The player, whose contract with the club until June 2013 Light, waiting for Benfica's position in relation to their future, but says it will return only if deemed valid option to play regularly. 'To return to Benfica is to be a valid option. I like Benfica, Benfica have the heart and is a pride to wear the shirt. Otherwise, I can return to Leicester, "he stressed. 19:44 - 05/21/2011
Ashley Posted 7 June 2011 Posted 7 June 2011 I would love him back here, easily our best centeral defender last year and he's better than Bamba. Sign him up Sven please
CosbehFox Posted 7 June 2011 Posted 7 June 2011 For me you go either Vitor or Mee, not the pair. Both are at a similar level of development, both make rash judgements. You need one of these alongside a more clever head or a physical brute.
Bert Posted 7 June 2011 Posted 7 June 2011 Vitor is miles better than any defender at our club. Even ask the coaching staff. He's very highly rated.
The Doctor Posted 7 June 2011 Posted 7 June 2011 I'd love to see vitor back but last season he seemed to get injured fairly easy which is a fairly big concern.
bluebatt Posted 7 June 2011 Posted 7 June 2011 Naughton - Vitor - Bougherra - koncheskey That would be an awesome back four
Callabinho Posted 7 June 2011 Posted 7 June 2011 Vitor is miles better than any defender at our club. Even ask the coaching staff. He's very highly rated. I said this after watching his first game, against forest he was awesome! Even though we lost he was my MOTM, I love his class and also his football brain! Tidy player!

sdb Posted 7 June 2011 Posted 7 June 2011 Can't say i've ever been massively impressed. Good yes, but certainly nothing to rave about. Clearly missed something!
Leicester_Loyal Posted 7 June 2011 Posted 7 June 2011 His first game wasn't forest....! I think he meant he said that after his first game. And then against Forest he was the best player. Two different statements, if you get me mate.
Stadt Posted 7 June 2011 Posted 7 June 2011 Vitor is miles better than any defender at our club. Even ask the coaching staff. He's very highly rated. He's not at the club anymore or is he Bert?
MikeyT Posted 7 June 2011 Posted 7 June 2011 Can't say i've ever been massively impressed. Good yes, but certainly nothing to rave about. Clearly missed something! get out!!!
