Fez of Mahrez Posted 7 June 2011 Posted 7 June 2011 Just been speaking to a Portuguese football expert on Twitter who says Benfica are notorious for loaning out quality players because they have no proper reserve side. His hunch is that we will get Vitor back for another season long loan, although they have just loaned out another CB so we may be reliant on them signing one first.

sphericalfox Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 Not a member of the Handsome Boy Modelling School, but a fine defender that we were extremely lucky to have had in our squad. We would be exceptionally lucky to have him return. He coped very well in a league that he was unaccustomed to, and though he had a minor injury during his stay, he hardly put a foot wrong. I don't know what the chances of him coming back are, but if a decision can't be made until late in the transfer window, I don't think he'll come as Sven will want the team in and settled (especially the defence) asap. but I wouldn't say no, if he can work his magic.
