Tomassi Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 A bit disturbing that some football players are giving people here semis...
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 Pielter, Mills, Vitor, Masilela as a defence, with Kasper behind them. That would be literally a dream come true. Well, keep on dreaming.
Libertine Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 A bit disturbing that some football players are giving people here semis... He just meant a Carling Cup semi.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 Well, keep on dreaming. 2 of them are already here. 1 is awaiting a work permit (which he will get) 3/5 isn't bad so far.
tylesta Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 A CB pairing of him and Mills gives me a semi. With peltier and masilela we'd have an epic back 4. How gay!
Jakemoore Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 A CB pairing of him and Mills gives me a semi. With peltier and masilela we'd have an epic back 4. Just a question; have you ever actually seen the two fullbacks play because I don't think ive seen them at all therefore I'm reserving judgement on them, however; the CB pairing does make me hard...
Trav Le Bleu Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 A bit disturbing that some football players are giving people here semis... He just meant a Carling Cup semi. or possibly he's American and he means an articulated lorry?
thybluefox Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 Just a question; have you ever actually seen the two fullbacks play because I don't think ive seen them at all therefore I'm reserving judgement on them, however; the CB pairing does make me hard... I've seen sections of play from both players, and talked to/read things from people who've seen them play week in week out, and I'm convinced that Peltier will be a more than capable replacement for Naughton and Masilela, who has CL and WC experience, will be much better than any left back we had last season. And for the record, I meant a metaphorical semi
bluebeau Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 could be on his way for another season long loan according to this http://translate.google.com/translate?js=n&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&layout=2&eotf=1&sl=auto&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.abola.pt%2Fnnh%2Fver.aspx%3Fid%3D273044&act=url I really do hope that we get him back at City, but if you can understand that translation, you're a better man than I am Gunga Dinn!!!
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 Good player, lets hope he comes over to City for another seasons loan
wurmer Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 I really do hope that we get him back at City, but if you can understand that translation, you're a better man than I am Gunga Dinn!!! I read it as there was a loan agreement almost made, but it's been put on hold and Vitor has now joined up with his team for pre-season, due to a defensive shortage.
hackneyfox Posted 4 July 2011 Posted 4 July 2011 Unlikely bugger http://www.thisisleicestershire.co.uk/story-12877376-detail/story.html
cc_star Posted 4 July 2011 Posted 4 July 2011 According to ThisIsLeicestershire Benfica have named him in the 1st team squad for next season & want to keep him, making even a loan move highly unlikely
Joe. Posted 4 July 2011 Posted 4 July 2011 It all depends whether they can get a reasonable name in to replace David Luiz you'd have thought. Can't see Vitor being an integral part of the first team, but we'll see.
Guest shearfox Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 Just read on another thread this is close to being done http://www.thisisleicestershire.co.uk/story-12914469-detail/story.html?
kingfox Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 Miguel Vitor is Premier League quality, played about two bad games for us but the rest he was superb, makes the right pass knows where to play the ball can defend can attack. With a deal being close that is 100% good news, great player along with Naughton he was my favourite loan signing last season.
Stevosevic Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 If Vitor is close to being done, that will leave us with Bamba, St. Ledger, Mills and Vitor, none of which would be happy to sit on the bench. Good luck keeping them all happy Sven.

Stevosevic Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 Squad rotation i guess. I guess, but i think one of the problems last season was rotating the defence so often, which i think Sven knows. I would prefer to have the 3 CBs we have, and a young player on loan who is prepared to sit on the bench most weeks, or our own young player. Edit: and i agree, Mills and Vitor would be a superb partnership. So maybe Bamba may leave.
