shiv Posted 15 June 2011 Posted 15 June 2011 I don't get the vassaell haters on this forum. Alright he didn't score a hat full of goals but some of his interlink play was top notch. Even started to look aggressive towards the end of the season. He will be a key player next season. I think he was pointing out Vassell did well. Could be wrong though. Nugent is a great signing on a free transfer. Like someone above mentioned, he always looks a threat. Plus he's only 26.

I was just saying, he could be similar to him in the way he plays and with his pace Sven might play him in a similar role
john doe Posted 15 June 2011 Posted 15 June 2011 Wish they would confirm this! may be wrong but a lot of the out of contract players can not sign till july 1st when contract has expired can agree pre contract but have to wait for contract to expire before its offical fingers crossed its more than just nugent on the first westwood /nugent/kamara/danns ?

ajthefox Posted 15 June 2011 Posted 15 June 2011 Decent signing on a free since there is no doubt he will score goals. Not overwhelmed but as many others have said, if he gets another 15 or so with for example, the Yak up top banging them in then we could well be on to a winner.

Nunny Fox Posted 16 June 2011 Posted 16 June 2011 Im happy about this, I know we were shite in both games against pompy last year (ade Akinbyi would have looked good) but he always looked dangerous and it looked like things were going to happen when he got the ball. Good player at this level and im sure under a manager like Sven he will step up a notch again. With Gally's service i can see him notching a bagful for us next term.

We can do better.

I thought the reason he stopped posting was because of the abuse he got following the simon cox saga. As for confirmation of him signing, i'd think seeing him play for leicester would be suffiecient proof rather than waiting for the OS.
