mitsuo Posted 22 June 2011 Posted 22 June 2011 Wonder how he and Yuki would get along? History and all... And yes, for once L1/K1 can come up with the appropriate chant. he was born in japan. He is like a japanese. Yuki know him well. It's a friend.
MC Prussian Posted 22 June 2011 Posted 22 June 2011 he was born in japan. He is like a japanese. Yuki know him well. It's a friend. I know - but I bet the dimwits in L1/K1 would still sing the dog song, regardless of Taese being South Korean or having played in Japan for most of his life.

sphericalfox Posted 22 June 2011 Posted 22 June 2011 My Japanese based friend tells me that this is/was not the only Asian player we were hotly pursuing. Though it seems that we didn't put an offer in for this fella: Ji Dong-Won (click to see where he went instead). I've had to keep that one under my hat for a long while! But as he's signed now for someone else it doesn't matter. Just shows how wide and far Sven is looking to bring quality and value for money to the club. I think Chong Tao-Se (I am uncertain of which way to present his name) could be immense based on the games i saw of him at the World Cup. He's record at club level is very good too. If he could adapt to the CCC quickly, then we could have a winner on our hands.
Filbert's Friend Posted 22 June 2011 Posted 22 June 2011 BREAKING NEWS FROM NORTH KOREA Leicester City have just been promoted after an unbeaten season
Mickey O'Neil Posted 22 June 2011 Posted 22 June 2011 even when we lose the north koreans will be told we have won. Hope this signing is to compliment Maynard, not instead of.
sphericalfox Posted 22 June 2011 Posted 22 June 2011 He's actually NOT North Korean. Obligatory Wiki link. It's complicated. Oh and obligatory 'first' youtube compilation clips: :
Cal Posted 22 June 2011 Posted 22 June 2011 Arnt his parents both South Korean and he was raised in Japan, but brought up in a North Korean way or something along those lines..
21st Century Fox Posted 22 June 2011 Posted 22 June 2011 This would be brilliant, I'm already cringing at the thought of some of the mouth breather's chants though.
mitsuo Posted 22 June 2011 Posted 22 June 2011 he was at north Korean school in japan because of grand parents. He wanted to be north korean citizen. He speak Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, German and english.
sphericalfox Posted 22 June 2011 Posted 22 June 2011 Here's another (I guess from his agency - funny name for an agency )
CosbehFox Posted 22 June 2011 Posted 22 June 2011 Born in Japan, Parents north Korean exiles. There's a name beginning with Z for such refugees.
shen Posted 22 June 2011 Posted 22 June 2011 He's actually NOT North Korean. Obligatory Wiki link. It's complicated. Or he's not NOT North Korean Holds a North Korean passport, wants to change citizenship but can't because South Korea doesn't recognize North Korea. In football terms at least he's North Korean, but I suppose his current citizenship has facilitated his move to Germany

Anyway, from a footballing point of view, the lad looks quality.
sphericalfox Posted 22 June 2011 Posted 22 June 2011 To be able to speak that many languages and so well, this lad's a pretty smart cookie. Ideal if you want someone to acclimatise quickly. I am starting to get excited again, and don't want to get my hopes up for the disappointment that might follow. 750k euros would be a steal.
Liamlcfc1 Posted 22 June 2011 Posted 22 June 2011 If he dont play well for us we can send him to a labour camp
Sirloin Posted 22 June 2011 Posted 22 June 2011 He's been hot and cold for Bochum this year, but he's great when on song. Would love to see him here.
