I don't rate him, and if Whittingham signed (along with Danns), King would be my choice to be dropped. King is far quicker than Wellens, rarely dallies on the ball and doesn't look for over ambitious passes.

The team suffers if he plays poorly because he is the one that determines most of our play. I've had many opposition fans tell me that most of our good play comes via Wellens. Wellens gets a foot it where as other players don't, he is very skillfull and his passing and vision is superb. In my opinion, Andy King is the one that slows down play. We have the backing and the ground to tempt him with a move, I honestly believe no Premiership club will come sniffing but a Championship club will. I believe we could possibly get Whittingham we need a left sided winger, as Gally will be on the right most likely and Whittingham fits the bill. Can see him leaving Cardiff for us.

Not so much of a problem when he is on his game but when he plays poorly the team suffers for it. Nobody hates him I do not think, just that I believe we play better as a team without him. Plus when you look at it if it's between us and pompey for Whittingham. Who is he going to go for? Cotterill V Sven?, living very near his hometown, or living very far away? Also who's got better facilities,better stadium, and who is more ambitious? Surely us?

We have more ambition that portsmouth and much more of a chance of promotion all you need to do is look at our team atm and the signings were looking to bring in so whittingham would be a fool NOT to join, in my personal opinion hed be a great asset to the team, at the end of the window imagine if we see this team sheet Schemichael Peltier Bamba Mills Masisla Whittingham King Danns Gallagher CMS Nugent/Maynard Id be fairly confident with that line up.
