Sven has made a big big mistake in ignoring Chopra and Phillips as both are capable of getting 20 goals this season, bought in 10 players but we don't have one natural goal scorer in the squad!! That's a criminal waste of money IMO. 100% agree with this.
Bettsy82 Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 I don't think he's wasted money but the team we had at the end of last season had bags of goals in it for me the yak would have been the first signing regardless of cost he would score 30 in this league. Also kamara and naughton should have been signed aswell naughton being our "big signing" I honestly would have paid 5m for him. For me at the moment Hobbs looks better than mills and pantsil looks awful.

Very disappointed we haven't secured a new goal scorer yet. And IMO Phillips who is now at Blackpool and Chopra at Ipswich would both have been excellent were both available & would have been very good acquisitions. We seem to have spent too long on players who either don't wanna come, or who's clubs won't sell.

Five million for Mills is a criminal waste of money and any damn fool can see that ( I'm sure the owners saw that on Saturday ) never mind new signings we need a new manager .
