acooling08 Posted 26 June 2011 Posted 26 June 2011 I cannot sleep when it gets this hot/humid. Last time it was this hot I went to bed at around 11pm, and onlyt got to sleep around 4.30am. Looking forward to it How does everyone else find it?
lavrentis Posted 26 June 2011 Posted 26 June 2011 Window open and try not to think is what I do. Thinking can keep me up for hours.
Asha Posted 26 June 2011 Posted 26 June 2011 I suffer badly as such. So why fight it? Many all nighters as a result.
purpleronnie Posted 26 June 2011 Posted 26 June 2011 Its horrible my bedroom seems to keep all the heat in. I usually sleep with the fan on.
Wymsey Posted 26 June 2011 Posted 26 June 2011 My Mother allows me to allow my balcony door to be open fully whilst asleep when I'm at her house. but sadly doesn't allow me to sleep within the balcony area. I wish there was cool breeze at times during this weather.

Libertine Posted 26 June 2011 Posted 26 June 2011 Absolute nightmare. Will have to be a night on top of the covers I reckon. Hate having to have the window open in this heat also because of all the sodding moths etc that get in.
purpleronnie Posted 26 June 2011 Posted 26 June 2011 Sleep on a lilo in your olympic sized pool? I did once. When I was in Houston I was in the pool at about 10pm as it was so humid, I had air conditioning but it wasnt working. I didnt mean to fall asllep on my lilo but I did and woke up about 4am. Bear in mind this pool was available to all residents of my apartment complex.
MikeyT Posted 26 June 2011 Posted 26 June 2011 Window wide open, sleep in very little clothing and on top of the bed covers.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 26 June 2011 Posted 26 June 2011 Window open for sure, but that will set my hayfever off big time tomorrow!
Asha Posted 26 June 2011 Posted 26 June 2011 Window open for sure, but that will set my hayfever off big time tomorrow! I'll get dicked by hayfever tomorrow too. Looks like I'll have to locate the tabs. lmfao.... really?.... seriously?.... 10pm and its still 25C outside!
Marcus LCFC Posted 26 June 2011 Posted 26 June 2011 Same here Naked or leg out the covers does the trick!
Webbo Posted 26 June 2011 Posted 26 June 2011 We left the window open a couple of years ago in weather like this. In the middle of the night the wife woke me up screaming. A cat had climbed into our bedroom and was licking her feet. Needless to say it spoiled our nights sleep.
leicesterisme Posted 26 June 2011 Posted 26 June 2011 Gonna have to get the fan, cant open the windows my hayfever is so bad atm!
