The weather in this country is truly shit.

Cold & rainy 90% of the time, then when we do get some sun it's that horrible humid heat that makes you uncomfortable all the goddamn time. 40 degrees in Turkey was much more bearable than 25 degrees here.

Looks like I won't be sleeping till next week at the earliest.

Bloody hell, it's not even that hot yet.

You should get a Thawb, really nice and airy in this hot weather.

The people in this country are truly shit.

They moan all year about the crap weather and then as soon as it gets to the top end of mild they start complaining as if they are being forced to live on the surface of the sun.

It's barely even warm, nowhere near hot. When you get up into the mid-30s, then you have a right to complain, until then, stfu and enjoy it.

For once, I agree with you. :D

Agreed, but it is definitely warm. I can understand some moaning, on Saturday it was around 10, today it clocked at just over 24, with a feels like 26 with blazing sunshine, its a fair jump.

The humidity is hovering around 40-50% at the moment, which barely differs from places like Turkey. Just saying.

You might already know this but in case you haven't, if you place the fan facing an open window in another room and open the window you are in, you'll get a quieter and more efficient changing of air, getting the hot air out of the house and replacing it with cooler night air.

Or you could just sleep in your pants!?

Agreed!

Works the other way around, too. Even when it gets too hot, it'll cool down and eventually start to rain, and no doubt some people will moan and groan and want the hot, sunny weather back!

I can never sleep when it's hot, under or above a duvet so I just take the sheet off that and sleep under it. It's extremely thin so you're not hot and it almost fools your brain into thinking you've got a duvet on.

Perfect

I know it's not been that hot, but the heat in England's always horrible. No breeze at all, just a horrible sticky heat. Didn't get to sleep until 4 last night, and had an exam at 9 :(
