Part Of The Crowd Posted 27 June 2011 Posted 27 June 2011 For the record, when I said I could comfortably wear a hoodie in this weather, I didn't mean I wear one out of preference, I just wouldn't feel bad due to heat if I wore one.
Marcus LCFC Posted 27 June 2011 Posted 27 June 2011 That was an ordeal Was turning all night and sticking to the sheets Any how off to work for a grilling for me being late yippie
Simmo86 Posted 27 June 2011 Posted 27 June 2011 Thought it was going to be really bad last night but just slept with all the windows open, on top of the covers with my bedroom door open and it wasn't to bad at all! Eyes are suffering today from having the windows open though!
cambridgefox Posted 27 June 2011 Posted 27 June 2011 The wife was tossing and turning.Mainly tossing!
ozleicester Posted 27 June 2011 Posted 27 June 2011 The wife was tossing and turning.Mainly tossing! yes... and i told her to stop.. but would she? Hallelujah.... a warm day and a pleasant evening
The Doctor Posted 27 June 2011 Posted 27 June 2011 Too warm last night. Granted I did keep the window closed but that was just as well since I opened my curtains this morning to see a ****ing bird had crapped all over my window.
Kent Posted 27 June 2011 Posted 27 June 2011 My room is quite good because it's sheltered so it was actually quite cold last night but this office is fookin boiling...
samjohnson Posted 27 June 2011 Posted 27 June 2011 I bet you'd be moaning if it was "too cold" aswell! There's no pleasing some people
FrankieADZ Posted 27 June 2011 Posted 27 June 2011 too bloody warm last night...if its like it again might well just sleep outside or better still in the freezer
lcfcadam Posted 27 June 2011 Posted 27 June 2011 Sod being able to sleep, I'd just go without altogether if we could have some extended periods of this kind of weather. Don't worry complainees, the forecast suggests normal 17c service as usual come the middle of the week
Bellend Sebastian Posted 27 June 2011 Posted 27 June 2011 My tip for those suffering is to wet your skin before you sit in front of a fan, which greatly increases its cooling properties, I RECKON. Best done just before you go to bed. Don't get into bed wet though, that'd be awful. I can't help giving
VampLCFC Posted 27 June 2011 Posted 27 June 2011 Absolutely horrendous!! 30 odd degrees, hayfever, asthma....... Not good!! sleep starko, on top of covers, window open, fan on, deal with it best you can!!
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 27 June 2011 Posted 27 June 2011 30 degrees and people are moaning Just think of the long winters, treasure these days
Marmite Posted 27 June 2011 Posted 27 June 2011 We left the window open a couple of years ago in weather like this. In the middle of the night the wife woke me up screaming. A cat had climbed into our bedroom and was licking her feet. Needless to say it spoiled our nights sleep. Brilliant
z-layrex Posted 27 June 2011 Posted 27 June 2011 Window open and try not to think is what I do. Thinking can keep me up for hours. Those massive giant house spiders come in if you do that tho!! Looking for a mate *shudder*
BoneDog Posted 27 June 2011 Posted 27 June 2011 I had no problems sleeping last night. Before I went to bed I got a big empty Cornflake box, opened both ends and flattened it out, then I told the Mrs to stand at the side of the bed and waft it up and down. What a lovely cool breeze it was. The Mrs is shattered and is in bed now trying to get some kip. She's not having much success though as it's quite blummin hot again today, poor gal.

Manwell Pablo Posted 27 June 2011 Posted 27 June 2011 Got to sleep fine got about 5 hours and for some reason couldn't get back to sleep as I felt like crap. 6 Pints of larger, and a 27 minute indoor five a side game probably didn't help on the sleep/dehydration/heat stakes I will admit.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 27 June 2011 Posted 27 June 2011 I hate the Summer, full stop. Heat, flies, weeds, sweaty, grumpy, and thirsty . I love the cold weather. Roll on Winter.
Alexikokopops Posted 27 June 2011 Posted 27 June 2011 I slept like a log last night. However, as some kind of punishment, the air conditioning is broken in our office.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 27 June 2011 Posted 27 June 2011 Ahh stop moaning Enjoy the weather before it turns crap again!
