If I've one criticism it would be that he's more of a sort to take the obvious option than come up with something inventive/creative. If you had to compare him to a household name, then he's a similar player to someone like Frank Lampard. Has not looked out of place when we've played Premier League teams in cup competitions in recent seasons. I can see him doing well in a Sven team. Gutted he's not staying, to be honest." Kinda reminds me of Muzzy Izzet reading that description. Quite excited about this signing!!

For a free transfer there aren't too many proven Championship players out there who would fit the bill better than him. He's got plenty of goals in him, he'll work his arse off and he'll provide welcome competition for the middle of midfield that was distinctly lacking last season.
