In their prime none of the up coming talent will be good enough to beat a fury in his prime ! BUT in 4 years time Tyson will be possibly past his prime he has 2 to 3 years left to make his mark forever then get out of dodge

When you look at the top 30 rankings the scary thing is the only up and coming fighter that might give Fury a rest in 4 years time is a man already older than him 🤣🤣 Joe Joyce , Martin Bakole well some say he is 28 others say 38 !!! He has to fight Hunter and get through that, Hunter isn’t able for Fury or wilder

so I’m not sure where there young guns are 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ None in the top 30 right now beat him, hell none of them beat him post prime either !

I absolutely see what you are saying… but it only takes  3-4 well managed/ promoted fights to  climb the rankings. There will be a couple looking to  clean his clock in a few years time. They won’t be able to do it.. I think he’ll retire undefeated. I mean.. if he can get up from wilder swinging and connecting, I don’t see what  else anyone can do to him.

I just hope he doesn’t do a George Foreman

Most boxers end up doing a George Foreman...

they have all been through a grilling, they end up trying to sell them...

NO HOPE !!! Wilder’s TV cash has ended !

there is only one BIG seller on the planet and that’s Fury now

You woefully underestimate the power of promoters and the stupidity of the paying public.

In my opinion, of course.

Yeah promoters have all the money and power was only a few years ago eddie was begging fury not to come back cos he was "worried" for his health more like he was worried it'd undermine AJ.

Promoters are just snake oil salesman aren't they? I guess the key is in the word 'promoter', they lash on the hyperbole and there's always a huge number of people who will fall for hype if they hear something enough. They've even been managing to make a fortune out of Conor McGregor and various youtubers donning the gloves lol It's not difficult for promoters to drum up interest if they have something to work with.

Clearly Fury is the number 1 heavyweight out there and will command the biggest purses, but the likes of Wilder, Joshua and Usyk can make a lot of money fighting each other. Each has their fans and there'll always be people prepared to pay ppv, even if I'm not one of them.

I also can't help but think that someone will emerge, out of the blue. It happens a lot. Maybe Fury will end up undefeated, that is looking favourite and he can't be expected to go on forever. I also sense he will wake up one morning and think 'I'm done with that' and we'll never see him in a ring again. I wouldn't be surprised if that's not too far in the future either. Given that, it is difficult to see who of the present lot defeats him, but I've thought that over the years about a few boxers. Mike Tyson, George Foreman, Roy Jones Jnr, Donald Curry, Naseem Hamed, to name a few, their first defeats were all shocks, even allowing for the fact the Foreman fought Ali. All seemingly looked unbeatable before those defeats, with the exception  of Hamed, who took too many risks to look unbeatable.

Styles make fights and there will be someone out there who can really trouble Fury and it may be someone totally unexpected, whether they can put him away is the big part, as you say.

Yeah tbh I don't mind them lining their pockets it's the politics of it all tho nothing ever gets seen for what is is mainly because promoters and brands.

Finally a decent statement from Wilder.

but the cynic in me wonders if congratulating Fury is genuine or he’s trying to keep the door open for another crack further down the line…

lol behave,

well he didn’t congratulate him in the ring. He told him he didn’t respect him so Fury says that’s it he won’t fight Wilder again so he’s got to say something if he wants that door kept open.

it could  of course  just be  that he’s had a few days reflection and calmed down a bit

He's not an idiot he knows that door is shut, fury won't have a lot of fights left most likely, he probably wanted to rescue a bit of PR as he had come out of that fight looking very good until the lack of sportsmanship

Kell Brook v Khan is finally happening. Bit too late for my taste neither of them are anything like in their prime, screams last big payday.

Yeah, 5/6 years ago it would've been quite an interesting contest. Not now.

Ten years ago this would have been one of the most in demand fights on the planet... Now, as you say absolutely smacks of 2 fighters desperate to be relevant again and possibly both in serious need of the payday.

It's a shame, I won't pay to watch but I think Brook wins this, where as if they fought when they should have I'd have Khan to win, to this day of the fights I've seen in person live it's hard to put into words how quick Amir was and had some serious power to back it up

If it was even 2 or 3 years ago I would have fancied it, not now though, last payday for both and will be over quickly IMO.

Nah it’s been dead for five years. The peak time for it was in 2016 when Khan was coming off the back of wings against Collazo, Algeri , and Alexander and Kell was still a world champion.

Instead they both decided to get their shit pushed in by P4P contenders two weights above them.
