Was a great fight one of the best I have seen for a while, two men going at each other for 10 rounds was a great show.

I felt Fury was clearly the better boxer but Wilder just wasn't giving up easily and he kept coming out and throwing them big hitters but by round 10 he may as well have been away with the fairys.

Great performance by Fury.

I find this post mind boggling. Very harsh.

this wasn’t his best fight but he absolutely controlled wilder for 3 fights now.  He was better in his last fight but his boxing skills are unmatched.

Harsh, how ? Wilder is so overrated, the poorest HW champ in living memory.
Of course Fury should dominate him & has. My point still stands regarding his physique. He has skills & is the best around out of a poor HW division. Usyk could definitely be a live opponent, AJ is probably shot. Fury will probably retire undefeated, having less than 35 fights, as there’s nobody to fight.
It may sound harsh, but it sounds reasonable to me. It’s only an opinion.

Wilder is technically limited but he's such a huge guy and huge puncher it doesn't really matter, I reckon (if he's not completely broken by this) he'd comfortably demolish anyone in the heavyweight division. So begs the question if he's so crap what does that say about the rest of the heavyweight division? It's a golden era imo, nothing fan boyish about it Fury is just an incredible athlete, incredible boxer and has serious mental fortitude. Fair play to him.

Fury’s main asset is his physical presence. 6’9” gives him him a massive advantage.
Valuev from Russia was similar, a 7 foot tall, very limited world champ.

lt wasn't Tyson at his best but he has been so inactive (7 bouts in nearly 7 years).
He will need to improve against Usyk, he can’t keep relying on his size.
I’m not a huge fan of Fury, or Wilder due to his padded record, but fair play, both put on a great show.

You didn’t mention anything about  Wilder in your first post except the last line… why would  you think I was referring to him?

Wilder is far from the poorest heavyweight in living memory very far from it, wasn't that long ago that david haye was beating valuev the cyclops even then david haye was a worse HW champion than DW.
Also I've gotta say i really hate this thinking around boxers being finished because they aren't at their peak anymore or they've just lost a fight it's really toxic and doesn't allow boxing or boxers to flourish imo,
ever since Mayweather and Calzaghe everyone is obsessed with it and it needs to stop.

I wonder if the freakish power that Wilder has damages his hands, aka Prince Naaseem Hamad (Sp)?

Which part because yeah you can say josh maybe shot and that might be your opinion fair enough still if that way of thinking is the norm it's counter productive.

But you stated that wilder was the worst HW champion in living memory which isn't a opinion and is a bit ridiculous.

Apparently he breaks his hands everytime he uses horsehair gloves funnily enough he never used them in the first 2 fights but decided to use them this time around to prove his point about fury's floppy gloves lol

hilarious that he ended up breaking his hand again because of it.

AJ has had some tough fights & looked to struggling v Usyk.

Wilder has a terrible resume, knocked out tin cans in cherry picked fights. The only time he takes on a credible opponent (Fury) he gets well beaten.

Haye was a pumped up Cruiserweight & at least took on decent opponents. I suggest you do a bit of research.

So what if he struggled against usyk? doesn't mean he's bad just usyk is really good.

Research? are you kidding me I followed david haye very closely i'm fully aware of his heavyweight resume it's terrible the level of fighters back then were C class apart from wlad and povektin and he lost to one and ducked the other,
Neither has amazing HW resumes but DW's is a lot better 10 title defences and a win against ortiz which is better than any of david haye's wins at HW,
And oh yeah he was 1 second away from beating tyson fury then went on to have arguably the best HW trilogy ever, but yeah david haye has a better resume lol

I've said it before but I really hope Fury vs Whyte gets made now.

Two different styles which would make for a great fight.

unfortunately I see that as being very one sided… fury will just jab him and keep him at bay as whyte won’t be able to get inside and rough him up. And if he does fury will just hold and walk him down.

So do I, however Wallin won’t be an easy fight for Whyte. I’d expect it to go the distance and I fear Whyte will gas out in later rounds if he’s not careful.

Here come the excuses, perhaps his gloves were too heavy this time and it made him tired.

Fury got in his head and had him on strings, makes me piss watching some of the press conferences were he doesn't even know what to say and stumbles and bumbles his words in anger (as much at himself for having no comebacks).

Oh for sure, I'd have my money on Fury, but I think Whyte gives him a tougher time than any other HW right now. Also don't think Fury bullies Whyte in the same way he has Wilder the last 3 fights/ would do with the likes of AJ/ Usyk.

The build up between Whyte and Fury would also be the best value.

Well, Whyte isn’t going to KO Fury, I’m sure of that. If Fury can get up from a swinging Wilder, it’s hard to see who could hurt him more. whyte’s best chance to to get inside and rough him up….. but Fury is so big and will walk him down… Whyte tires easily so I don’t see a way for him to win
