I think a second fight would be even closer. Ben’s first fight in 40 months and no one can claim he was anything but squeaky clean either considering the amount of testing.. I wonder if he might try and go for a filler fight at 160 just to get up to that weight..

 

I have to give it to Eubank Jr… he dug deep and pulled something out of the bag I’ve never seen from him

Cracking fight that and more than lived up the hype. Wasn't much different to most British title fights you see that end up with 2 lads going toe to toe.

 

The worst part about big fights is people that watch 1 or 2 fights a year moaning that boxing is fixed/dead/corrupt :D

 

@MPH not sure if you mishead or not but it's fourteen months not fourty :p Still a long time out to come into a fight like this though. If we do a rematch i'l expect he'd have 2 more this year and then they'd look to do something early next year.

I'd actually love to see if Connor benn could could come down 6/7 lbs and fight nick ball. That'd be a hell of a tear up but unfortunately probably too hard to bridge the weigh gap between them.

Im surprised by the reaction to this. Thought Eubank did enough to win comfortably, especially the earlier rounds. Benn missed a lot early on.

 

He did come on strong towards the end however. I’d have had 115-113, but can understand 116-112 due to a couple of close ones.

 

Benn is a cheat, so I’m happy.

Yeah Ade is very good.

 

I was disappointed that Buncey didn't make it over to DAZN though. He's the Mardle/McCoist of boxing for me, just so good to listen to.

 

Had to back Dave Allen last night, he just exuded pure confidence during the face offs and the fact that Johnny Fisher was agreeing that Allen is the better boxer was a bit of a red flag for Fisher lol

 

Allen to get a British title fight in Sheffield would be class.

Huni looked so good and then Wardley lands out of nowhere. Still would love to see the Huni v Opetaia fight thats been talked about

Dubois v Usyk. 

I guess it's the same scenario as their first fight.

Dubois needs to go for it early, otherwise it's a Usyk late stoppage.

I guess Dubois has gained experience & Usyk is getting older. Bit of a leveller ? 

I probably slightly favour Usyk via 8th round stoppage.

Usyk looking genuinely ****ed off with all of Dubois posturing about the last fight. 

 

Wouldn't want to be DDD in there tonight. 

 

FWIW, it definitely was a low blow.
