Only question that I ask myself is which player(s) would have to be dropped in midfield and seek another club (on loan)... Or could Fernandes play as a winger?

That is one possible formation, but with this signing it allows flexibility in different formations which can only be a good thing

Edit to add that cheering with and high-fiving strangers at an Atlanta airport bar when Fernandes "scored," with beer and shots flowing in the morning, was my favorite random moment of the 2010 World Cup. So, if Fernandes were.to sign (which he won't), he'd instantly become my new LCFC hero.
