Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 West Ham are so shit at gome, and mint away! Unreal really.
Fox92 Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 How have Barnsley taken 4 points off of us this season? They are poor.
Matt Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 How have Barnsley taken 4 points off of us this season? They are poor. Because we were poorer and so inconsistant and that is why we are not going up this season.
Raw Dykes Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 Just another thing to 'throw into the fire', we clearly havn't been good enough all season, so if by some miracle we did make the playoffs fair enough they'll be changes and we'll strengthen in the summer but do people really think we'd be strong enough in the Premiership? Thats if of course we a; Make the playoffs and b; Win the playoffs - We won't do either imo, but just want get views from people who still think we can make the playoffs as to what happens then because if we havn't been good enough all season in the Championship we won't be anywhere near good enough in the Premiership, we'll have to basically rebuild and buy a whole new team barr one or two players and that in itself is a recipe for disaster. Too little too late for me. Of course we're not going up this season, barring a miracle. I don't think we would do very well in the PL next season if we somehow did get in. We'd probably be a lot more like QPR than Norwich or Swansea. Having said that, even going up for one season could be great for our finances. If we did a Blackpool and planned on going straight back down, we could make a huge profit. It would be horrible to watch us get beaten week in, week out, but it could be very good for the following seasons. I actually mentioned him when I was typing that post, but deleted that bit before I hit send. I wrote something like, "At least Akinbiyi looked like he wanted to do well for us." You're probably right, but I think Mills is a good contender. He's not even playing for the reserves! Can't stand Reading. But they're going up and makes me sick. I watched a bit of Reading's match today, and I caught myself thinking, "This is so unfair. Our fans deserve some success more than Reading's fans do. We're the bigger, richer club, and we've had to endure a decade outside the PL after we got used to finishing top half in it for years, while they'd be happy just to be in the Championship." I know these kinds of views won't win any popularity contests with fans of other clubs, and I want to make it clear that in no way do my brain's views reflect those of myself.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 Because we were poorer and so inconsistant and that is why we are not going up this season. One thing which is consistent is the incorrect spelling of inconsistent! But yeah you're right, its embarrassing we have only picked up one point from them. Though its the same against nearly all the bottom teams except Cov

Corky Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 How have Barnsley taken 4 points off of us this season? They are poor. They had Drinkwater and Vaz Te. Without those two they look very poor.
SemperEadem Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 West Ham fans today imo were poor. Good numbers but vocally quiet.
purpleronnie Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 West Ham fans today imo were poor. Good numbers but vocally quiet. They always seem to take great numbers but I have read on many occassions that they are very quiet.
BHAFC Braders Posted 7 April 2012 Posted 7 April 2012 Hmm, Burnley doing us a little favour... we didn't play like we wanted it sadly , that said I've NEVER seen a team throw themselves on the floor every 5 seconds to con the ref as much as BNPley did yesterday, but they beat us and no bones about that.
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 7 April 2012 Posted 7 April 2012 Forest and Bristol City have just kicked off, I know I'm probably in the minority but I actually want Forest to stay up (not that I think they're in much danger of being relegated), I enjoy the away day there - helps that I'm only round the corner too. I see Bristol City have traveled well, at least 300 there...
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 7 April 2012 Posted 7 April 2012 Notts Forest 0-1 Bristol City Chris Wood with a pen on 54 minutes. Camp with a shocking challenge to concede the penalty.
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 7 April 2012 Posted 7 April 2012 Get in!! Puts Coventry back in the bottom 3. Yep, I'd have no problem with that bunch going down!
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 7 April 2012 Posted 7 April 2012 Full time: Forest 0-1 Bristol City Forest battered them but just couldn't score. Ahh well
HEGGSY Posted 7 April 2012 Posted 7 April 2012 Full time: Forest 0-1 Bristol City Forest battered them but just couldn't score. Ahh well Cov are going down, there going down, there going down , there going, Cov are going down.
purpleronnie Posted 7 April 2012 Posted 7 April 2012 I still find it odd people want one of our local rivals to get relegated, aren't those the matches that you look forward to the most? Shitty season sure, relegation no.
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 7 April 2012 Posted 7 April 2012 Cov are going down, there going down, there going down , there going, Cov are going down. Bloody hope so, and guess who Cov have next.....Bristol City at Ashton Gate, maaahooooosive game!
