danfox76 Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Kasper Peltier (if fit) Mills Bamba Konchesky Dyer Fernandez King Gally Schlupp Nugent I would start with this.
Christoph Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 KasperPeltier/Pantsil - Mills - Bamba - Konchesky King Wellens ------ FernandezDyer ------- - Nugent ---------- Gallagher With a bit of brawn in the middle of the park from Fernandez and Wellens then I reckon King can make runs from deep behind the two while Fernandez can drop into kings position with wellens staying put.
foxes2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 wow we played bad against reading i wouldnt get ahead of ourselfs as we lost badley and looked second best. i know bristol are doing bad at the minuite but if we want to win we need to up our game. i think we need to play a less ridged formation with some wingers, i think we aught to bring nguessen back and play dyer
foxes2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Kasper Paintsil - Mills - Bamba - KoncheskyFernandesWellens - KingDyer --------------------GallyNugent OR Kasper Paintsil - Mills - Bamba - KoncheskyGally - Wellens - Fernandes - DyerNugent - King Nugent is great at holding up the ball but needs someone to make runs alongside him, King is great at that. like this one

In wingers we have Gallagher, Dyer, and Vassell's back soon, also Nugent and Danns can play on the wing if needed.
lcfcnoely Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 I agree with someone above who had king and Nugent up top, king is a top talent however he goes missing to much to be a dominant central midfielder, but I feel he could do a decent job as a second striker where he can focus purely on making his runs that he is great at and scoring goals. Just a thought, what does everyone else think ?
bald reynard Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 I'd play:- Schmeichel Pantsil - Bamba - St Ledger / Mills (I'd prefer the former, Sven will choose the latter) - Konchesky Wellens - Fernandes King Danns - Dyer Nugent Subs:- Weale - St Ledger / Mills - Abe - Gallagher - Sscchh
EverybodyDannsNow Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 I think it has to be... Schmeichel pantsil bamba mills(last chance to prove himself) konchesky danns wellens fernandez gally King Nugent
shade Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 two central strikers FFS, were at home against Bristol city.
One Arm Babba Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 I think it has to be... Schmeichelpantsil bamba mills(last chance to prove himself) koncheskydanns wellens fernandez gally King Nugent Is it really? oh ok. Thanks.
Mr.Lowe Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Schmeichel Pantsil Bamba Mills KoncheskyFernandesKing GallagherDannsNugent WaghornSubs: Weale, St. Ledger, Wellens, Abe & Schlupp/Dyer
the new guy Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Schmeichel Pantsil, Bamba, Mills, Konchesky Fernandes, wellens king gally, schlupp, nugent
He's not bald Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Schmeichel Pantsil, Bamba, Mills, Konchesky Fernandes, wellens king gally, schlupp, nugent Agree with most but would start Schlupp on the bench and give Waggy a chance?
Jimmy Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Agree with most but would start Schlupp on the bench and give Waggy a chance? because Schlupp has shown he deserves it Waggy hasn't apart from being a fans fave player
thybluefox Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 I think it has to be... Schmeichel pantsil bamba mills(last chance to prove himself) konchesky danns wellens fernandez gally King Nugent You divot.
FoxesFan100 Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 I think it has to be... Schmeichel pantsil bamba mills(last chance to prove himself) So you're basing how he played against Reading? I feel that you're judging way too quickly.
Raw Dykes Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Schmeichel Pantsil Bamba Mills KoncheskyFernandesKing GallagherDannsNugent WaghornSubs: Weale, St. Ledger, Wellens, Abe & Schlupp/Dyer I think this would be a lot better if you just swapped Gallagher and Danns. I think we should try to play a proper, attacking 4-3-3, with Dyer, Nugent, Gallagher as the front 3 (since Vassell's still unavailable). Bristol City are nowhere near as good as Reading, and you never know, we could kick start our season with a comfortable win...
Spencer Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 A nice little 5-0 win to take us into the play off places I reckon!
David Guiza Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 If we're going to play 4-3-3 then we need 2 proper wingers or at least one! As The Ultimate WInner said. Although unless you count somebody like Gallagher as a winger then we've not really got two, good enough. So i'd probably go with: Schmiechel Pantsil/Pelts Mills Bamba Konch Fernandes Danns/Wellens King Dyer Gally Nugent

Madrid_Fox Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 I am an advocate of 4-3-3, but not on this occassion. I want a 4-4-2 Diamond. Kasper Peltier/ Pantsill Mills Bamba Konchesky Wellens Danns Gallagher King/ Fernandes Nugent Waghorn / Schlupp
marbelladave Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 I can see Sven digging his heals in, so I expect few changes. We really need to get our shape right so that we are properly set up and can start trying to play some football. I expect the same line up as saturday with just the one change, King for Abe. On the other hand I would go for. Schmeical Peltier/Pantsil--St Ledger--Bamber--KoncheskyDanns--Fernandez--KingGallagherSchlupp--------------------------Nugent Won't happen of course but it will be interesting to see if Sven has the balls to make some real changes. As i said above, probably not!
