stix Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Oh I see another dickhead blaming the guy who has been treated like shit by this club. If schmeichel hadn't been so naive in the first place it would never have happened. Know any other great goalkeepers willing to warm a bench? Didn't think so! Just pipe down and stop slagging off innocent individuals! Are you Terry from Portsmouth by any chance. Chris Weale never has and never will be a great goalkeeper.
Yojoe36 Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 We played really well today. Dominated for 80 minutes. As we were sitting on the other side of the pitch, I didn't see fully, the situation. Did the ball hit one of our players hand, while he was on the? Cause if that's true, then that's a screw job Kasper got sent off due to his PASSSSSSHHHUNNN. Thank god the League cup is on, so he'll be back for Southampton I'm not too bothered about the scoreline, but I am pleased we shown what we can really do as a squad
cc_star Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 100% bookable offence Yup Kasper knew it was, and he was willing to take the yellow for it, he just never realised he'd already been booked, that's why he apologised on Twitter It was never a Pen though, he was obviously frustrated from that, feckin ref
purpleronnie Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Are you on the wind up??? No your right he was helping the forest players to kickoff quickly.
sphericalfox Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 100% bookable offence I thought it went over the just over the head of McGugan from the tv pictures, but that's clearly a card. Just as bad as kicking it into the stands
Trav Le Bleu Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 100% bookable offence Video from Trent End... hmmm. 100% my arse. THIS is 100%... Just to make people feel a little better.
BlueSi13 Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Yup Kasper knew it was, and he was willing to take the yellow for it, he just never realised he'd already been booked, that's why he apologised on Twitter It was never a Pen though, he was obviously frustrated from that, feckin ref Sorry can you explain? How on gods green earth is that a worth a yellow card throwing the ball back upto the half way line?
sphericalfox Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Where's Thracian's slant on all this... It'll making interesting reading fo' sure!
Vardinhio Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Must be kidding me.... The balls ends back up near the centre circle and when the ball hits the back of the net the game restarts anyway....pathetic excuse for a ref who clearly had no concept of how the game is actually played.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Where's Thracian's slant on all this... It'll making interesting reading fo' sure! Not enough academy players in the team. There, no need for Thracian.
lcfcsnow Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 I have to laugh at the guys suggesting Sven got his substitutions wrong. It was all working fine until the referee decided to turn the tide single-cardedly. Sven didn't have a choice after the calls. I can only disagree with bringing Weale on, I'd have felt more comfortable with an outfield player in goal. <_< Badly need a striker because there was nothing up front after Nugent went off, who ran his heart out again. Great signing.
Guest Col city fan Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Yup Kasper knew it was, and he was willing to take the yellow for it, he just never realised he'd already been booked, that's why he apologised on Twitter It was never a Pen though, he was obviously frustrated from that, feckin ref Then he has to learn to calm down don't he.. The sending off was as important to the result as the penalty.
Bugg Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Not enough academy players in the team. There, no need for Thracian. more like "rant rant rant gradel rant rant rant"
southdevonfox Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 although this feels bad at the minute, i feel far more optimistic than i did last saturday after the reading match. if we continue to improve this much in a week we will soon be flying this is hurting guys , all leicester fans are hurting bad right now , but we have to believe the team will bond and we will start to climb that table , i was working but managed to listen to the radio when i could , when i heard we were 2.0 up i felt so good , now i feel so low grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr . but its got to get better , next game guys next game , just want that smile back .
cc_star Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Sorry can you explain? How on gods green earth is that a worth a yellow card throwing the ball back upto the half way line? Take the tinted glasses off, he threw it away, he knew what he was doing and his tweet is as close to an admission he was willing to accept the booking for it as you're going to get
shen Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 100% bookable offence O RLY? I wonder how the Forest players would have gotten the ball back to the center circle quicker than that And leave now as you're purely intending to wind us up. Also have a video of the peno that never was?
Narborough_fox Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 I know I harp on about it but I'm a 'keeper and I've kicked a ball of the field after a goal before and never been spoken to about. That really is a joke of a decision.
BlueSi13 Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Take the tinted glasses off, he threw it away, he knew what he was doing and his tweet is as close to an admission he was willing to accept the booking for it as you're going to get Glasses were never on, Kasper got the ball back to the half way line quicker than the Forest player carrying it would have done. Joke of a way to send a player off the pitch.
BlueSi13 Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Also, after Reading scored their first against us, Kasper then proceeded to boot the ball to the back of L1, nothing was said.
katieakita Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 100% bookable offence Adsey, Impressive quality considering having to give the trees either side of you a hand job
MC Prussian Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Then he has to learn to calm down don't he.. The sending off was as important to the result as the penalty. Looking at the result, well yeah. D'oh. Any more words of wisdom coming from your direction or do you like stating the obvious?
Guest Bilo Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 The ball stayed on the field of play did it not? If anything, Schmeichel was doing the absolute opposite of timewasting by getting it back to the centre circle as quickly as possible. The decision would have been vaguely understandable if he stalled for time by kicking into the stands but a yellow card for that? Genuinely one of the most ludicrous decisions I have ever seen in English football.
