Weak people feel pressure

All the best sporting great are arrogant. Ali, Schumacher, Senna, Woods - if you don't believe that you're the best thing since sliced bread, then how can you expect anyone else too?

.

Nonsense.

For every one of those mentioned there is a Sugar Ray Robinson, Manny Pacquiao, Roger Federer, Leo Messi etc etc

It doesnt bother me but there is no need for arrogance at all, no idea why anyone makes excuses for it.

I am a fully qualified Hypnotherapist and looking down isn't a lateral eye movement that is common in lying. Looking to the left is constructing a thought, image or sound that's essentially made up. Beckford's still a LAD.

oh he is still a lad for having the balls to say somthing... wether he was fully convinced by it himself or not...

as for eye direction and lying. someone who is confident and even arrogant will look straight at you when talking to you,, but will do the opposite when lying - look down... and vice verse for people who dont usually meet you with eye contact when talking to you.

Its all in here Eye direction and lying and how it can reveal truth and lies.

Roger Federer comes across nice on camera after he's won but don't be fooled, what you see is not always what you get.

I must be weak then, I feel pressure every month trying to pay the mortgage and bills to keep my family happy on my pittance of a wage! Suppose if I was on a few grand a week that would make me be a stronger person then?

Don't take it personally, he's just saying it to get the fans hyped.

I agree though.

'Pressure' is relative.

i'll tell you what pressure is about ;

It's the terror of knowing

What this world is about

Watching some good friends

Screaming 'Let me out'

You can always rely on Queen lyrics to kill a thread.

Just thought I'd add to the beckford saga that before the game yesterday when they were warming up he needed a hell of a lot of bandaging on his left ankle/foot. I'm not making excuses for him or anything just thought I'd mention it - he may not be 100% like :)

If that performance was fitness related then his old lady better be worried! It could be terminal!

He'll be ok, will still take his £££££'s a week home to his Mansion regardless, while I nip off to bed now so I can drive 500 miles tomorrow for peanuts to help my daughter through uni and needing to do another part time job just to pay for my ST every season...pressure my arse!

If he isn't 100% fit then he shouldn't be playing, the more poor games he has the more of a battering his confidence will take, leaving us with quality striker moping around feeling sorry for himself, that is the last thing we need at the moment.

Posted

He shouldnt be playing if not fully fit hes taking schulpps or whoevers place in the team when there fully fit a ready to go its not fair. I think come january will be trying to bring in another striker anyway and beckford could be playing second fiddle unless he goes on a mad goal rush!

He's still not fully fit.

In which case, he's cheating his team-mates, his manager and the fans by pretending that he is.

Howard or Schlupp would have given far more to the team than the panic buy did on Saturday.

Was speaking to an everton fan today at work. He reckons he was shit for them in his first few games but came good. Hopefully he,ll do the same here :fc:

I ahve to ask this because I can't believe what I was hearing. But my good ol Dad told me today, that our mate Mr Stringer said on last nights phone in that Beckford was on £40K a week?!?!

First of all, did Stringer actually say that beacuse I could quite easily believe my Dad misheard (I want my Dad to have mishead) and secondly, just beacuse Stringer said it doesnt mean its true does it.

"What the f**k?" is all I had to say on the matter.
