Captain... Posted 28 September 2013 Posted 28 September 2013 Young "Barnsley have come here and absolutely parked the boat!"
Rincewind Posted 28 September 2013 Posted 28 September 2013 I quite like them. They make a good pairing. Commentary plus a bit of comedy. I try to look at it like somebody I know. He is blind and says that they are his eyes for the game. Not sure how he rates them but they are his best option and a savior to kep up with the game. He was saying once he was listening and the opposition scored so he threw the radio across the room and it went out the window a couple of floors up. It has been in the wars that radio. As I type this they have scored. Yeeeeesssssss. Nugggggggent
chrishlcfc Posted 1 October 2013 Posted 1 October 2013 stringer just said a pretty good one: it's 4-1 to ipswich at derby, sack the manager.

Can't stand the 'balmy night at Anfield' hyperbole we are subjected to on the box. And I really don't know why Young is disliked by so many on here.
Tommy G Posted 1 October 2013 Posted 1 October 2013 Talking abut sandwiches again it really has lost the funny part now!
The Horse's Mouth Posted 1 October 2013 Posted 1 October 2013 It's far too relaxed, kinda reminds me of the Ricky Gervais Radio Show on XFM.
chrishlcfc Posted 1 October 2013 Posted 1 October 2013 enjoy the commentary very much and obviously they don't always get a 2nd chance on viewing penalties. But after seeing the highlights and Yeovils penalty in which both Stringer and Young said it was never a penalty i think they need there eyes testing. I mean im all for being a little biased towards city but that was just a little blatant.
Meltonfossefox Posted 3 October 2013 Posted 3 October 2013 Jamie Moore he was in my class at school dirty begger did something in maths teachers brief case ewwwwww. Il leave it to your imagination
lc4lcfc Posted 5 October 2013 Posted 5 October 2013 I hate young he's a tool. His humour is appalling and he probably doesn't know what day of the week it is most of the time. He is just awful and really not professional. I can deal with stringer though.
everton carr Posted 5 October 2013 Posted 5 October 2013 Really cant understand the dislike of Young and Stringer on here. Things could be a lot worse we could have Geoff Kojak Peters back
Mack Posted 5 October 2013 Posted 5 October 2013 Really cant understand the dislike of Young and Stringer on here. Things could be a lot worse we could have Geoff Kojak Peters back Whatever you do, don't go on the piss in Pussycats, Telford!
OLD norfox Posted 5 October 2013 Posted 5 October 2013 I like it when Young and Stringer shows their passion for the club. That also means thats their thoughts not always had been through their brains before it slips out. It seems that to me that Young knows his football even its a bit oldfashion motivated. But when Stringer try to analyse whats going on its not brilliant. But I like them a lot because of their passion!!
StanSP Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 Another classic from Youngy. Just before the first goal by Morgan. 'Knockaert doesn't have enough power to take this from 30 yards'. 1) Did he not score vs Derby with a 30-yard thunderbolt in the same competition?! 2) Moments later his free-kick too powerful for their keeper and we score .
Beliall Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 and whenever we score..." I dont think he that very well"
1972 Fox Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 Give me strength! Youngy has just said he wants Liverpool in the next round. He doesn't mind whether it's home or away.
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 Miguel rose like a stallion! Alan Young is comedy gold.
Rhysm Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 Miguel rose like a stallion! Alan Young is comedy gold. that is fantastic!
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 young just be told liverpool where knock out Yeah, in the previous round!
Renart Posted 9 November 2013 Posted 9 November 2013 Stringer: [about Andy Reid] He has trimmed down Al. Youngy: He has, he's breaking that body in for a hippo!
Ash79 Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 I quite like both of them they obviously love the club and want us to do well but the commentary (mainly from Stringer) was god awful today continually rambling on about nonsensical things and mistaking players all the time... The missus, who rarely takes an interest in the football even questioned wether Stringer was pissed after getting Drinkwater mixed up with Konchesky on about three occasions!!!
KFS Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 The amount of times he called Knockaert's name yesterday after he had been subbed...
