pSinatra Posted 1 October 2011 Posted 1 October 2011 Derby are due a hiding only having played most of the bottom teams so far - Leicester are due a good win so im going for 3 -0 City another clean sheet and a lesson for the sheep shaggers Nugent, Danns, And King with the Goals. Come on you Blues....... You're right about Derby......they ain't fooling no-one. Their bubble is going to burst this afternoon, Leicester are due a convincing victory & it's about time King bagged one..........so I'm going for King & a 2-0 @ 50/1
MrAus Posted 1 October 2011 Posted 1 October 2011 4-0 Leicester !! Its time we clicked fully and battered someone, today is the day !

Kilworthfox Posted 1 October 2011 Posted 1 October 2011 It seems that Derby dont appreciate Walsh's comments... ... :fox: My link
sphericalfox Posted 1 October 2011 Posted 1 October 2011 The optimism today is frightening. I think we have the capability to win, but Derby are no push overs. There actually aren't a bad team, and the ethos that Clough has finally instilled is clear. They don't give up, and have a couple of decent players. They won't last the season, as they haven't got this in depth. They'll start to sink, but probably not until January. If they didn't have the money to spend in the summer, they'll not have it in January. Whatever the result today, I'm confident that in January our depth and standard of reserve will probably pay dividends in the last third of the season. I expect us to be smashing teams at that point. I don't see that happening today.
Tielemans63 Posted 1 October 2011 Posted 1 October 2011 100th meeting today - 26 wins for us, 41 wins for Derby. Got to narrow that gap! Ps Apologies if this stat has been posted already - could t be arsed to check tbh.
acooling08 Posted 1 October 2011 Posted 1 October 2011 People are (foolishly) expecting a good win. They are 3rd remember. If we lose today it's gonna be 2 points from 9 and everyone will be panicking. Fortunately, being a pessimist, I've prepared myself for a 0-3 loss. That way, I'm not too upset if we lose, but will be fvcking buzzing if we win.
shiv Posted 1 October 2011 Posted 1 October 2011 Oh NO! What a shitter!!!! Any idea how long he'll be out for?? Not sure, don't think they've said how long or how serious. We'll find out soon...

You just look forward to us failing, don't you?

Reynard Bleu Posted 1 October 2011 Posted 1 October 2011 The injuries we have are a concern, I still think we can win this one, we seem to have tightened up a bit at the back and we can pass and play as well as anyone else. We just need to bury the chances that come our way. They will be up for it so we need to at least match them in the attitude department.
Thracian Posted 1 October 2011 Posted 1 October 2011 Whatever happens to my 2-1 win prediction I don't think we're philosophically geared up to winning big. We never pick enough scorers/creators for a start and even if we do get ahead there comes a point when we say "hold onto what we have". Derby away last season was a stark example. Two-nil up and running rampant up to half-tiome we completely surrendered the initiative and tried to hang on for victory. It worked but the same daft philosophy didn't work at Forest. We've been just the same on other occasions - at home against Southampton when we almost let victory slip. No, a two-goal margin is just about possible but a one-goal margin much more likely. PS: How delighted I'd be to be proved wrong but I've not the slightest hope that it will happen.
ozleicester Posted 1 October 2011 Posted 1 October 2011 4-0 cmonnn yoooooo bllooooooooooooooooooosssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
Salieri Posted 1 October 2011 Posted 1 October 2011 So i'd imagine the team will be : Schmeichel Peltier Mills Bamba Konchesky Danns Abe Fernandes King Vassell Nugent
sphericalfox Posted 1 October 2011 Posted 1 October 2011 My optimism has had a word with me and I only hope that we are fitter than Derby, as it's going to be a little sweaty tonight. Maybe that might give us an advantage, thus spanking them. Shit! I'm starting to sound a bit like Col City!
Karljohn Posted 1 October 2011 Posted 1 October 2011 What size crowd are we expecting? heard Derby have shifted just 1300, and the plea's on the OS are borderline desperate, lucky to scrape 22k with the ticket price, SKY and the sunny weather?
One Arm Babba Posted 1 October 2011 Posted 1 October 2011 4-0 Leicester !! Its time we clicked fully and battered someone, today is the day ! I took 4-0 and beckford first scorer for 80-1 ... Just hope he's playing.

sphericalfox Posted 1 October 2011 Posted 1 October 2011 As I'm can't make the game today I thought I'd invite everyone who's interested to play 'Drinking with Sky' this afternoon. Simple stereotypical comments made or repeatedly made about Leicester such as' big spending' etc. Anyone interested? Will be playing on twitter.
