lcfc_sam_p Posted 20 October 2011 Posted 20 October 2011 Must win this game. With most of the sides above us playing eachother this is a really good chance to put the pressure on. Danns in for yuki. Schlupp on the bench instead of dyer.
absolutelegend Posted 20 October 2011 Posted 20 October 2011 Kasper Peltier St.Ledger Bamba Konchesky Abe Johnson Wellens Vassell Nugent Beckford
Number 6 Posted 20 October 2011 Posted 20 October 2011 Kasper Peltier St.Ledger Bamba Konchesky Fernandes Wellens Johnson Danns Nugent Beckford Subs: King, Paintsil, Schlupp, Vassell, Dyer Would stop putting Weale on the bench to try and combat this 5 rule. This may have cost us a point at Forest & I would guess maybe another 1 or 2 over the whole season - just feel the benefit of that extra outfield option outweighs the risk of not having a back up 'keeper. Think we could then have a very dangerous looking bench with plenty of options. Would like to give Danns a go in an attacking role and let him Nuge and Beckford really put pressure on their back line. Think Johnson and Wellens have to keep their places after the Tuesday game. Especially Johnson. So good when he has the ball. Will go for a 2-0 win. I think it'll be much harder than Watford but then that's not saying much. Nugent with both goals.
Donut Posted 20 October 2011 Posted 20 October 2011 Kasper Konchesky Bamba St Ledger Peltier Fernandes Johnson Danns King Nugent Beckford Bench: Weale, Pantsil, Abe, Schlupp, Vassell Should in theory be a comfortable victory
Donut Posted 20 October 2011 Posted 20 October 2011 Kasper Konchesky Bamba St Ledger Peltier Fernandes Johnson Danns King Nugent Beckfordw Bench: Weale, Pantsil, Abe, Schlupp, Vassell Should in theory be a comfortable victory, although never seems to work out that way. Two goal margin, 2-0 or 3-1
kingfox Posted 20 October 2011 Posted 20 October 2011 Schmeichel Peltier St Ledger Bamba Konchesky Abe Fernandes Johnson King Beckford Nugent Bench - Weale, Pantsil, Wellens, Danns, Vassell
Corky Posted 20 October 2011 Posted 20 October 2011 Half of the week's work is done, now to complete it. Tempted to put Dyer in, because it will take some of the attacking pressure off Konchesky, but can you leave out Johnson? Wellens will start, as will King. Same defence and forward line. Should be a win, and we've been much improved in recent years at beating struggling teams at home.
RowlattsFox Posted 20 October 2011 Posted 20 October 2011 Although millwall have been poor I still think they have it in them to frustrate and be tough to beat. If were not up for a fight and a scrap then I can seem them knicking a point. Also n'guessan is sort of player who can cause us problems, if he's up for it and surely he will.
Tielemans63 Posted 20 October 2011 Posted 20 October 2011 It'll be interesting to see if MJ can manage two games in a week. Think it might well be too much to ask from him.
AyewJoking Posted 20 October 2011 Posted 20 October 2011 3-0 leicester, the blue wagon keeps on rollin'
Salieri Posted 20 October 2011 Posted 20 October 2011 Same team I hope. You've gotta expect 3 points here which will FINALLY see us up in the top 6.
blueblood88 Posted 20 October 2011 Posted 20 October 2011 Schmeichel Peltier St Ledger Bamba Konchesky Johnson King Wellens Dyer Beckford Nugent Subs: Weale, Pantsil, Abe, Fernandes, Schlupp. Too hard to predict, should be a comfortable win, but, knowing City, will be a 0-1 defeat. We've been in the position to break into the top 6 more times than i can remember over the past year, and blown it every time. But going to stick my neck out and say a nervy 1-0 win, Nugent with the only goal of a scrappy game.
muzzy1981 Posted 20 October 2011 Posted 20 October 2011 Think Sven might start some on the bench who played Sat and Wed, got enough strength in depth. I reckon he'll play: Kasper Pantsil St Ledg Bamba Konch Abe Wellens Fenandez Danns Beckford Vassel Weale Peltier King Johnson Nugent
Thracian Posted 20 October 2011 Posted 20 October 2011 Schmeichel Peltier Bamba St Ledger Konchesky Vassell Johnson Wellens King Beckford Nugent Subs: Weale, Paintsil, Fernandes, Dyer, Schlupp. Can't see the benefit of playing Abe wide right. It didn't work having Oakley and Stephen Hughes out there in the past either but it's something we seem to persist in.
SpartakAnj Posted 20 October 2011 Posted 20 October 2011 Kasper Peltier Bamba St Ledger Konch Johnson Fernandes Wellens Danns Nugent Beckford Subs: Weale Pantsil King Abe Vassell Give Abe and King a rest and give Danns a chance. I would use both King and Abe from the bench though.

The guy has been our best player this season!
AdamN Posted 20 October 2011 Posted 20 October 2011 ----------------Schmeichel Peltier St. Ledger Bamba Konchesky ------------------Johnson -------Wellens--------Fernandes --------------------King ------------Nugent Beckford Subs: Weale, Pantsil, Danns, Vassell, Schlupp 4-0, King x2, Beckford, St. Ledger Abe's had a hectic schedule so I guess it's his turn to be rested. Danns back to the bench and what I believe are the four best passing players in our team making up the midfield. I reckon Johnson and Fernandes in the same team would be a joy to watch. I think we'll do em fairly comfortably - or at least we should, so I'd like to see Schlupp on the bench in the hope that he can get half an hour or so if we're looking as comfortable as I'm predicting/hoping. Who knows...maybe he'll bag himself a goal and make it 5-0
Fox92 Posted 21 October 2011 Posted 21 October 2011 Millwall will be better than Watford in my opinion. More organized, and Kenny will not park the bus - I rekon he'll come open. I don't think we will hammer them either, and clean sheet would be nice though regardless. Prediction: Leicester City 3-1 Millwall My team would be (the same team - why change it?) Kasper Peltier -- St. Ledger -- Bamba -- Konchesky Abe Wellens -- Johnson King Nugent -- Beckford Subs: Pantil, Danns, Vassell, Schlupp, Howard
Master Fox Posted 21 October 2011 Posted 21 October 2011 This has 0 - 0 written all over it. Maybe even a cheeky 0-1 victory for Millwall. Pretty much happens every time. It's the Leicester way.
lestajigs Posted 21 October 2011 Posted 21 October 2011 3.0 city, nugentx2 king Wonder how many millwall are bringing
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 21 October 2011 Posted 21 October 2011 Schmeichel Peltier - Bamba - St Ledger - KoncheskyVassell - Wellens - Johnson - King Beckford - NugentSubs: Weale, Pansil, Fernandes, Dyer, Abe Abe looked shattered in the second half so can see sven putting vassell in his place I think 3-0 win with beckford getting 2 and nugent getting 1
STEVIE B Posted 21 October 2011 Posted 21 October 2011 Does anyone know of a long running fued between Beckford and Millwall fans ? Seems he may be in for a bit of abuse tomorrow if their forum is anything to go by
