sphericalfox Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Best news I heard all day. The man is a myth and has rode on his PR and rep for too long. Good riddance to bad rubbish. Any chance you go with him?
WardyisPukka Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 I am very angry about this!! hope youre pleased to all those who wanted this!! there goes promotion !! ****ing joke
The Year Of The Fox Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 This. I'd be outraged and MON would be literally the ONLY appointment that would appease me. This. Note to all regarding potential successors: TAKE YOUR SENSIBLE SUGGESTIONS AND FORGET THEM. The Thais will want a big name that will be known to those in Thailand to help the marketing of the Leicester City brand. Add in the fact the Thais know little about English football and that we have a chairwoman who knows nothing about the footballing side of things and you can instantly rule out lower league managers with track records such as Clark, Westley etc. Billy Davis?
somebum Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Sky Sports News reporting he has been sacked. Stringer is a useless git. Good old Sven; his Very Easy Method for getting money has worked again - get a 3 year contract, work a year, fcuk it up and get a big payoff. Cvnt.
Petchy Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 This is ****ed up. Just when I thought the owners weren't going to be Mandaric's..... **** sake.
liamsm Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Are owners must be IDIOTS, who we gonna get now?
Trav Le Bleu Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 MON and walshy . i can dream. Nightmare don't you mean?
Jackirius Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Yo, i've been on tablets and been falling asleep all day, been asleep this afternoon and log on to see that Sven has been sacked?????? WTF? Someone explain?
Burmesefox Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Madness unless MON is lined up! This is terrible news.
FrankieADZ Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Someone wake me up when we have a new manager...........hmk
Guest Bilo Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Martin Allen turned out well didn't he? We are one result off second place for **** sake. Again, 3 unproven managers and 2 tw*ts. Do you think either of the first three are going to manage the attitude of somebody like Jermaine Beckford? The second two are nothing more than solid championship standard. Neither of which are better than Sven. You seem to be assuming I agree with the decision. I don't. I vehemently disagree and think the owners have bowed to the pressure of the boo-boys. However, I feel that we need young blood in the hotseat to turn our season around. As somebody else has already pointed out, Lambert, Adkins and Poyet were all unproven at Championship level. Lambert now manages in the Premiership, Adkins' Southampton are top of the league and Poyet's Brighton are in the top five. Why not Clark, Solksjaer or Robinson? All three have achieved plenty in the past couple of years. The best way to make the best of a bad situation is to make a sensible appointment. I feel any of these three in particular would be better than plumping for McClaren, Robson or Gullit for example. Sven appears to have gone. We now need to make a sensible replacement.
Fox96 Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Why the hell are people saying Sven is too good for us? FFS get real. He has spent about £10million and we don't look organised, strong or determined as a team. Exactly the point.... why can't people such as Alan Young see this?
Trav Le Bleu Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Sky Sports News reporting he has been sacked. Stringer is a useless git. Good old Sven; his Very Easy Method for getting money has worked again - get a 3 year contract, work a year, fcuk it up and get a big payoff. Cvnt. He had a 2 year contract. Muppet.
Nick Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Stringer The lights are on! I'm standing in the car park looking up at the windows and I can see the owner - he's on the 4th floor and he has a phone pressed to his right ear.
1964FOX Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Being reported too widely in the media now so I expect it's true. I would imagine the owners have someone lined up and arguably it's better to bring someone in when we are still within striking distance of the play offs/ automatics. Personally I think it's too early and we must remember some of our best players are here because of Sven and will leave if he does. As others have said it's never boring being a Leicester fan.
Fox92 Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 there goes promotion !! ****ing joke Why does it? Because we have sacked our big-named manager? I remember when Crystal Palace were bottom at Christmas, and they ended up making the play offs/going up.
dave the caveman Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Suprised, but not much. He's nice and all but he deserved to be sacked. Ultimately the quality of the decision depends on the quality of the replacement. If they bring in some money grabbing show pony it could easily be a disaster, but bring in someone solid and we'll be marching up the league with this squad.
Criggers Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Think it's a bit mad really. But it has to be said Sven has brought it on himself. You know things are bad when managers are blaming "tiredness" in the middle of October. There are far too many things that don't add up though and the biggest one is never signing a single god damn winger. All in all I wouldn't want to see Sven gone but there is nobody else to blame. I really want to believe that something has just been blown out of proportion but as we always know there is rarely smoke without fire
MC Prussian Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Been sacked. Confirmed by Stringer now. I'm absolutely gutted.
