sphericalfox Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 I'd rather my gran to be fair. And she's dead. And yet they'd both be a better choice than Steve Kean.
teblin Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 I like Sven and am very disapointed by this news!
Bettsy82 Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 To be fair i was an eriksson fan but we dont seem to have progressed at all since last season the inconsistency is just too worrying. dont know if given more time the team would start to blend a bit more but weve been saying that for a while now. in terms of a replacement Billy Davies would be my choice bags of enthusiasm and passion and a good record at this level.
cc_star Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 SSN reporting on whether he has a role to play at the club If he's going to be director of football I can't see any managers wanting to become a puppet for Sven. If he's to leave the manager's position I hope he's fooked off altogether
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Just heard via moussa that Sven said he was under great pressure at training this morning, and he had 2 games if that.
EnglishOxide Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Because going for a proven manager has worked out brilliantly. Lee Clark - Has earned his crack at a bigger club than Huddersfield with the football they're playing and they are hideously tough to beat. Look at their unbeaten record for example. Karl Robinson - Done well on a shoestring at Franchise, big potential. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer - Extensive knowledge of the English game thanks to a long playing career here and could well get us a few Manchester United loanees thanks to his links with their reserves. Won the Norwegian league at a canter in his first major job. Billy Davies - Knows this league very, very well. Ask a Forest fan how shit he is after their past few seasons. Has a tendency to fall out with the board but he'd inherit a better team than he ever had at the City Ground. Encourages good football too. Dave Jones - His teams are always tough to beat and his CV at this level is top notch. Not quite such ridiculous choices eh? Who would you pick? Martin Allen turned out well didn't he? We are one result off second place for **** sake. Again, 3 unproven managers and 2 tw*ts. Do you think either of the first three are going to manage the attitude of somebody like Jermaine Beckford? The second two are nothing more than solid championship standard. Neither of which are better than Sven.
Callabinho Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 I would just like to say MON will never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever.....ever ever ever ever rejoin Leicester.
Fox92 Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Martin O' Neill is favourite. Can't see it happening that much, but some of the other managers listed are encouraging; Lee Clark and Dave Jones for example.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 I just heard the bookies' list on RL and about slit my wrists. Hope you lot are happy.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 When did our supporters become right brats?? We have no given right to win every game and perfection only comes with investment, hard work and time. I don't think Sven has been given enough time. Are you for real? He has only spent over 10million, had a quarter of this season and we are mid table. How is that good enough or remotely acceptable?
sw_fox Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Wow what the actual ****...... Sven is a quality manager and I doubt we will replace him with someone better. Has nothing been learned by the thais about our recent history- sack managers this early in the season and their replacements will never be able to perform to their full potential. I hate to be a moaner but I feel another season of mid table obscurity, waiting for next years "push to the prem" once the new manager has sorted their house out in the summer, is upon us...
21st Century Fox Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 I would put a hefty wedge on the Thai's going for someone like......... maybe......
Yojoe36 Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 WHO GIVES A SH** IF MEN CAN MULTI-TASK. ACTUALLY F** OFF!!!!!!!
Fox96 Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 So many choices if he goes, hope they don't screw up going for a big name. Shearer would be a disaster, big name when we'd do better with someone like Billy Davies, Lee Clark or Sean O'Driscoll.
Hammster Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Lists of replacements that wouldn't make this the dumbest decision ever: O'Neill Superman
Criggers Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Looking at The Sun front page gave me an idea for Sven's next job.. He could replace Louis on X Factor?
