blueharmie Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 who the fook is going to replace him? ideas? i have NONE!
EnglishOxide Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Well I agree with him. Robinson and Clark have done sensational at Mk Dons and Huddersfield. Billy Davies took Forest from the bottom regions of the league to the play offs. Dave Jones has a good managerial record, getting Wolves up and taking Cardiff to the play offs. I would take any of them. I continue to be amazed at the stupidity of our fans. Sven is too good for us.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Are you taking the piss? Three unproven managers. *cough* Gus Poyet *cough* Nigel Adkins *cough* Paul Lambert All of whom had little / no experience of managing Championship sides and have taken to this division like a duck to water. The gap between League One and the Championship isn't as gaping as you'd think. The likes of Robinson and Clark don't actually represent that much of a risk.
Guest MattP Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Bryan Robson is the new man inbound. The Thais can go **** themselves if they do that.
lcfc12 Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Hi lads new poster. Don't shoot the messanger as I hope it's not true that Sven's gone after 1 terrible performance but apparently through word of mouth from a friend I heard that Gianluca Vialli was watching the Watford game last week. Maybe this could mean something?
sphericalfox Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Steve Kean - straight swap. Sorry Trav, but I'd rather Dowie!
jamesmilner Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 he has been sacked . it will be made public tomorrow . top staff at lcfc are privvy to this info . he was called in today . 1,000,000 % correct !
Trav Le Bleu Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 The Thais can go **** themselves if they do that. Whatever you do, don't google that!
renards Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Bryan Robson is the new man inbound. Sacked by the Thai national side ........you were joking
Fox92 Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 I continue to be amazed at the stupidity of our fans. Sven is too good for us. "Sven is too good for us" - and you call me stupid!!
Guest Bilo Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Are you taking the piss? Three unproven managers. And Billy Davies? There is a reason no club will trust him with their money. And Dave Jones couldn't get Cardiff up. What are you smoking? Because going for a proven manager has worked out brilliantly. Lee Clark - Has earned his crack at a bigger club than Huddersfield with the football they're playing and they are hideously tough to beat. Look at their unbeaten record for example. Karl Robinson - Done well on a shoestring at Franchise, big potential. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer - Extensive knowledge of the English game thanks to a long playing career here and could well get us a few Manchester United loanees thanks to his links with their reserves. Won the Norwegian league at a canter in his first major job. Billy Davies - Knows this league very, very well. Ask a Forest fan how shit he is after their past few seasons. Has a tendency to fall out with the board but he'd inherit a better team than he ever had at the City Ground. Encourages good football too. Dave Jones - His teams are always tough to beat and his CV at this level is top notch. Not quite such ridiculous choices eh? Who would you pick?
Foxy Bingo Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Unbelievable. Unless they have Martin O'Neil lines up, I will lose all faith in our owners. Can't believe they've chosen to do it right before West Ham on Saturday. At least give him til Christmas ffs Bye :sge:
Callabinho Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Totally the wrong decision if true, everything will go tits up if so.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Sorry Trav, but I'd rather Dowie! I'd rather my gran to be fair. And she's dead.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 What are the chances that; A.) The Thais would be interested in giving Chrisy P the job AND B.) Chrisy P would then do the dirty on Charlton? Hate to say it, but if Sven couldn't see that we weren't going to consistantly win games without wingers he had to go. Would most agree that our play was too perdictable, slow and lifeless that the formation employed was never going to work? Couple of other ' out there' suggestions for manager; Neil Lennon (the sourcerer's apprentice) Brain McDermot (hardly fashionable though so unlikely) Nigel Pearson (you never know!) Roberto Di Mateo (Reckon he'd like another crack at full time management) Roberto Martinez (surely an offer at this point would give him food for thought, despite his love for Wigan) Or how about blasts from the past like Martin Allen, Gary Megson or dare I say it Rob Kelly?!?
davieG Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 A foreign manager is probably the most likely. They'll want a 'name'.
somebum Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/3891235/Leicester-sack-boss-Sven-Goran-Eriksson.html I hope our prayers have been answered. Please let this be true.
StarFox Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 When did our supporters become right brats?? We have no given right to win every game and perfection only comes with investment, hard work and time. I don't think Sven has been given enough time.

I'd be pleased if any of the five managers you mentioned were in line for the Leicester job.
