does Martin O' Neill redecorate his flat alot? seems many people are linked on here to redecorating his flat recently I've only ever met the guy once at the Holiday Inn and I'm sure he said he was staying there because his flat was being redecorated!

Sorry if posted elsewhere, but Lee Clark has ruled himself out of the job. Thought he would do that personally, he is building up a fantastic team at Huddersfield. Wish them luck, hope they come up.

I reckon that Lee Clark is sensible enough to know that this would be too big a step up, too soon.

Fair play to him - I think he'll bring Huddersfield up this season anyway

Read what he actually said, far from it.

My vote goes for MON, but I dont think he wants to manage our this time. Ole Gunnar Solskjær is the best opinion, he is a great guy with a winning-attitude. He looks very kind, but are strict and demanding towards the players - just what we need right now.

Would be funny to see Robbie Savage in the role too :-)

They're winding you up son. Or at least I bloody hope they are.

Cant understand why so many are keen on Billy Davies. Yes he knows the division, yes he would probably get us up promoted, but would he keep us up? What we need is a long term plan and I don't think Billy Davies is the long term solution.

Even though I could see it all ending in tears I would love to see MON back. I can't help it, I would just love to see him back.

Failing that I would like Mark Hughes. But I don't think either MON or Hughes will drop into the championship. I'm feeling rather negative about the whole sorry affair.

lol I literally posted that when I walked in as I hadn't seen or heard anything about us all day and two normally reliable people texted me that Holloways on his way...

looks like they stitched me up thankfully!

My list:

1) MON. Far and away the best candidate.

2) Sparky. Fantastic job with Wales, good rep as well. Questionable job at Man City though.

3) Di Matteo. Outstanding with WBA and unlucky to lose his job. Encourages stylish football.

4) Lee Clark. 40 games unbeaten with Hudders and very much on the up. Lack of Championship experience a worry though.

5) Solskjaer. Three very successful years at Manchester United with their reserves and an outstanding first season as the main man in Noway. Highly rated by those in the know but no real experience of this level.

My first choice is Di Matteo, remember his West Brom team coming to the Walkers and completely playing us off the park.

Wouldn't go for MON, would like to keep it as it is and want his reputation to stay as it is. For some reason it never normally turns out to be as good the 2nd time around.
