Trav Le Bleu Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 The huge majority of people who were slating Sven were doing so because they were saying he had no Plan B - which to an extent I go along with and understand. However, if it turns out that the owners haven't already got someone lined up to replace Sven, then surely they can be blamed with exactly the same failing. It makes their decision reactionary rather than proactive. Which in my books is bad. If we face West Ham on Saturday with Rudkin and Stowell in charge I will not be happy. In fact I think it will be the most disappointed I've ever been with the club (aside from when Megson was appointed possibly.)
21st Century Fox Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 It does come across as a bit of a kick in the teeth to everyone whose forked out to go to Upton Park. I'm currently staring at my ticket with contempt.
cc_star Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 I agree, the timing of decision indicates someone is waiting in the wings - if not and they have to go through a whole week or two of interviewing, I too will share your disappointment.

Tommy G Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Upton Park has a few scenarios: 1) We have no manager and get hammered 4-0 2) We appoint MON and sneak a 1 nil win and best away in the last 10 years 3) We faff and rush an appointment. After the game or just before Leeds and go on a horrid run of losses
m00nie Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 most people wouldnt have expected anyhting from west ham anyway so maybe now was a good time.. when ever they did it people would have been against it as some will always want him for the season, some for longer, some now, etc..

Bob Weasel Fox Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Whoever next has to be able to inspire the players and gee them up. If not MON then someone of similar ilk
frankiesgrandad Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Simon grayson was in the woodies sat night giving a lot of insight in to lcfc problems ? Coincidence ?

There's always an upside to every downside, at least we won't be getting that dick back.

dannythefox Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 Let's sort plan A out before we go on to B.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 25 October 2011 Author Posted 25 October 2011 According to Andrew Neville we have no one lined up to replace Sven. Which makes me angry. Who would want to come here after the short shrift Sven got?

Who would want to come here after the short shrift Sven got? But the club would say that wouldn't they. It would reflect badly on the club to suggest we already have someone in place before we had got rid of our old manager.

Who would want to come here after the short shrift Sven got? Sven came here after Sousa's short shift
Saxondale Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 Speaking of Plan Bs... I hope the owners have a Plan B if we don't get promoted, new financial regs and all.
whoareyaaa Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 Speaking of Plan Bs... I hope the owners have a Plan B if we don't get promoted, new financial regs and all. Well thats probally why they are splashing out this year.. like I keep saying they aint stupid, they will know about the new regs coming in, which wouldnt suprise me if they gave the new manager another 10m in January . just some thoughts
Bangkok Mick Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 Whoever next has to be able to inspire the players and gee them up. If not MON then someone of similar ilk Carlito`s Way top film by the way. Without using Google see how you do with these 1. What was Carlito`s surname? 2. by what name does Gail, carlito`s girlfiend call him? 3.Finish the quote "You think you`re big time? you`re.........................." 4.After making the film Scarface Brian De Palma was reluctant to make another similar movie. What made him change his mind to direct Carlittos Way? a) Pacino approached him b) the script c) he was at a loose end 5.Kleinfeld has to free Tony T from which prison?

Who would want to come here after the short shrift Sven got? There'll be lots of interest in this job.. Don't you worry about that.. As for 'poor old Sven' he's already being linked with England and Blackburn.. SGE is possibly one of the most lucky bar stewards to have ever walked Gods clean earth!!!

Yeah, must have been luck that won all them trophies in his past. You've obviously got a bee in your bonnet regarding Sven, anyone would think he's had a bounce on one of your family members.

So long ago it's difficult to remember... Totally lucky lucky man... Nice bloke though...
