Richard Keys has just said on talksport " what we are being told is don't rule out Martin O'neil taking the job at leicester " !!!

I know it's unlikely... if not almost impossible for it to happen... but still, the thought of it :blush:

Possible two reasons why it's taking so long.

1. they are trying to poach a manager already in work (possibly Clark?)

2. they are desperately trying to persuade a notoriously (recently) difficult to please man to take over. (MON)

There surely can be no other reason. I still maintain all this work should have been done quietly behind the scenes before they sacked Sven. That decision can't have been a knee jerk reaction to one result, they must have had an inkling they were going to do it weeks ago. Not nice, nothing to be incredibly proud of but business is business after all.

Oh god, oh god, oh god!!! If it doesn't happen it doesn't happen but just the thought that it COULD happen is making me tingle!! I am 30 years old so for me Martin IS Leicester City. I was the perfect age to enjoy his genius and actually think I love him a little bit (in a manly way obviously. A giant cocked manly way).

Martin, this is a message to you:

I know it isn't always a good idea to go back and I know you could walk in to most jobs in the country but listen. We love you Martin. We love you like no one else loves you. We talk of you in legend, we remember you and smile. We tell anyone who will listen about OUR Martin! The man who made OUR Leicester City a genuine force. We took it to Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool. We silenced the Rams and the sight of Taggart, Elliott and Walsh together literally made us wee on the floor (well, me anyway but then I am a little simple). If you came back we wouldn't make the same mistakes again, we wouldn't take you for granted. We would sing your name. WE WOULD SING YOUR NAME and dance around the streets. We love Leicester and we always will but we are not quite as proud of our team as we once were! Bring back our pride Martin!!! I want more memories!!! I WANT MORE MEMORIES!!

According to Stringer Dave Jones applied for the job, thoughts? I think he's the sort of man we need to get out of the division, he knows the league as well.
