Master Fox Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 You can tell that from the rumours posted on a football forum ???? None, But by watching him in any one of the 3,000 television and radio interviews he's done this week. I came to that conclusion.
Leicesterpool Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 MON will be the new manager! We wish , I wonder what it be like if that did happen & we find out while we're in the away end tomorrow the reaction.
Saxondale Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 http://www.thisisleicestershire.co.uk/O-Neill-says-Leicester-City-star/story-13689179-detail/story.html Claridge speaks.
MPH Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 What I mean is that a lot of these players were poor because after they left Leicester they never scaled the heights they did with us, O'Neill has a gift of making average players play like world beaters. Take Phil Gilchrist for example or the youth lad Stuart Campbell, they were exceptional at PREMIER LEAGUE level at times for us and then they disappeared down the leagues in comparison. It was the players he signed for big money that he didn't fair so well with likes of Gunnlaugsson and Eadie. His record at Villa was suspect for me, but I can't fault what he did for us. Hero. Finished six three years in a row didnt he with them? Dont think they have been anywhere as good since he left...
whoareyaaa Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 claridge, lennon, walshie, izzet all saying go back...
Leicesterpool Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 claridge, lennon, walshie, izzet all saying go back... Them four should go speak to him, possible coaching roles for them. Apart from Neil Lennon since being at Celtic.
foxoffderby Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 http://www.thisisleicestershire.co.uk/O-Neill-says-Leicester-City-star/story-13689179-detail/story.html Claridge speaks. Claridge was speaking after City rubbished internet reports that they met the fans' overwhelming favourite to succeed Sven-Goran Eriksson at the Belfry golf club on Wednesday night.

escos Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Which ever way we look at this TOP is lying HE said he wanted someone that knows the division and Clark doesn't! And a young manager 49s old, I think not! He said he wants somebody that knows championship football, not somebody with experience of managing in it. Anybody who has managed in England or played in England would know championship football.
Saxondale Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 He said he wants somebody that knows championship football, not somebody with experience of managing in it. Anybody who has managed in England or played in England would know championship football. Sven had managed in the prem AND managed the English team, and he didn't know the Championship.
lcfcsam Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Could we possibly be rational for a minute please? In the last ten minutes three different names have been ‘nailed on’. What we know; They want somebody in, or at least lined up, by tomorrow. MO'N is mildly interested in the job, Top needs to persuade him. He STILL hasn’t come out to deny an interest which he has done for numerous roles in recent months. Promise him he won’t be sacked too early and a sizable transfer kitty and he could come home. Roy Keane will inevitably want the job but the fans don’t want him. The club will know this. All this bollocks about how the Thai’s won’t know about his poor spells at Sunderland and Ipswich are exactly that, bollocks, and I’m sure Neville will have a word as well. It’s quite obvious that Lee Clark would consider taking the job, he just doesn’t want to jeopardise his position at Huddersfield by moving first. Kevin Keegan has applied along with another 100ish people; it takes time to evaluate that many people.Apart from that we know nothing. MO'N could be at Grimsby Fisheries right know trying to persuade Andy Impey back into football for one last year, we just don't know. What we do know, is that with Top and Neville, we’re in good hands. (If Roy Keane is appointed I will happily retract that last statement)

somebum Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 I think Keegan has what it takes to get us up. He did it with Man City and Newcastle playing some very nice attacking football and it is something we miss around here. I would not be too upset with it to be honest.

BIEREDeLuxe Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 So you think that in the world of football ....it's perfectly acceptable and diplomatic to discard a gentleman like Sven one day ,and appoint someone the next .......you think thats being credible do you .......both as club owners and businessmen ? How to win friends and influence people ! Do me a favour Owls fan ............go and play in the traffic !!! Are you being serious?
Leicesterpool Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 there's a saying "It's quite.. too quite"
