Chazwaz Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 He's the same as Billy Davies two play offs lost! True, but he's the sort of man that will give our players the kick in the backside they need
SMX11 Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 According to Stringer Dave Jones applied for the job, thoughts? I think he's the sort of man we need to get out of the division, he knows the league as well. In all seriousness I think most managers out of work in the country would have applied for it so I find it difficult that he would be high up the pecking order.

Leicesterpool Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 When he was in charge at Cardiff, they didn't score many goals.
Saxondale Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Just because he's applied it doesn't mean anything. I've applied for lots of jobs that I didn't get. We've supposedly has 100 or so applicants.

DarkTranquillity Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 We have all watched Leicester for many yeasr in many divisions, we all know tthe division!
He's not bald Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Looks like Lee Clark isn't coming! Good, he's not ready yet!

We've supposedly has 100 or so applicants. Competition for jobs is fierce out there. With the economic downturn the football management business is one of the industries which has been hit the hardest. There are a lot of football managers in the UK right now really struggling to find work. A lot of skilled and experienced managers are having to take on lower paid jobs such as tree surgeon, cleaner, and dinner lady. I’m not surprised by the level of applications for the vacant managers position at Leicester City. I would anticipate at least 3 rounds of interviews. I would also expect the candidates to be given a skills and personality test. It’s vital they find the right person for the job.
Babylon Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 He's the same as Billy Davies two play offs lost! Is there a manager outside the top flight who has a 100% record in the playoffs?... oooh lets get Holloway back.

I've heard the club have approached Pertemps to shortlist some applicants on a temp to perm basis.

Corky Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 I know this division, I've had to watch my team in it for seven of the last 8 years.

How many football managers from the professional game do you know who could be a FVCKING DINNER LADY :crylaugh: And we might be in the middle of an ecconomic down turn but we still have 92 league clubs the same as we had before the down turn. Unlike finding a job on the high street where hundereds of shops have shut. What a load of shite.
danny. Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 If we get Jonesey I'm going to throw myself off the bowstring bridge! that would be impressive!
