To be honest, and not that I'm just sitting here staring at the screen waiting for something to happen and therefore bored to tears, but once you'd chopped them off then the microwave bit is kind of irrelevant.

Oh yes - I can't remember how I heard about it - maybe Sven texted everyone - as for 'he's gone get over it', I know this and could possibly have lived with it easier if the new man was in place and ready to go and I wasn't reading about berks like Strachan, Megson, Ole Gunnar Man U sub, Billy no mates or some bloke who can't get the mighty Huddersfield promoted from the third division - add in Nigel Worthless to the mix and I say we're up shit creek - still I will edit this post if Martin O Neill is appointed and accept that 25 year old rich boys make fantastic chairmen of clubs and that getting rid of a manager with 2 defeats in 10 was a great and inspired bit of leadership

But somehow, procrastination is such a powerful negative source to reckon with. Don't let procrastination take the most out of you! Exactly - they didn't care how the end of Sven was seen - so why would they be all sensitive when it comes to naming a replacement But it doesn't work like that, more often than not it takes weeks. It was 19 from 39 this season - bit lame using the dog end of last season to justify a crap decision - I must be impatient as I was happy to give Sven at least 25 games if not the whole season - unless we were threatened with relegation - which we aren't - think we are on the same side really, I am just more pessimistic than you re O neill and have lost quite a bit of faith (if I ever had any) in Top as a way forward for the club.

Martin O'Neill is weighing up the prospect of making a sensational return to Leicester City, 11 years after he left the Midlands club to join Celtic. The Northern Irishman, who has been out of work since he walked out on Aston Villa on the eve of last season, is eager to return to management and has not ruled out the possibility of going back to the club where he enjoyed five years of unprecedented success. Although nothing is certain at this stage, Leicester will, at the very least, take encouragement from the fact that O'Neill has not dismissed the idea out of hand. It is understood that much is likely to depend on the assurances he receives from Leicester's Thai owners, in terms of not only the time he would be given to get things right but also the level of financial backing that would be made available to him should they reach the Premier League.

Hughes has an excellent record with Wales, Blackburn & Fulham though & he was building something with ManCity before the billions got in the way.
