Guest Basildon Fox Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Shit the bed! Come back Martin and finish the job off. Would be a fantastic appointment and the dissapointment of Sven going would soon turn to Sven Who?
flowwolf Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 It IS going to happen.trust..   trust.
trueblue06 Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 I'm appreciative for any information, but isn't this a bit stupid by Stringer? There is no information here and it is betraying the confidence of a footballing contact. Yeah, I agree if we end up with Roy Keane I am blame Stringer. Stringer don't upset the great one!!!
Adster Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 It IS going to happen.trust..   trust. I don't who/what to trust anymore!!!
wattolcfc Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 I feel like I've eaten a tube of blue smarties This actually made me
Walkers Pallet Chauffeur Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 I feel like I've eaten a tube of blue smarties love it
Rhysm Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Class - but is that fat bloke with the trolley behind Ron Atkinson? Cue flurry of bets on big Ron.
trueblue06 Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 It IS going to happen.trust..   trust. I do hope your right!!
ARM1968 Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 If MON comes back and it goes tits up - which it won't, how does that devalue what he has already achieved here?
m00nie Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 haha stringer tries to dangle a carrot, people get exited and other people claim there ITK and been told hes coming...
Happy Fox Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 no it dont... stringer always plays things up to get the listeners anyway.. Sit down and relax MON is coming
EnderbyFox Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Hate to be negative, but that statement sounds to me like he doesn't care at all, not that he wants the job?
FallenAngel Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Im really not sure what to make of what Stringer said about Oneil, could mean anything, but really if MON was not taking the job, why is he not saying so? Something MUST be going on, or he knows what is going on (another recommendation perhaps?)
Walkers Pallet Chauffeur Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 If MON comes back and it goes tits up - which it won't, how does that devalue what he has already achieved here? We have a far better quality of squad than last time, more funds than last time...... I'd love to see what he cud do.
Corky Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Ok, if you are wrong I will ban your IP address so you can never return... still confident? Couldn't you do that anyway?
Brainy Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Ok, if you are wrong I will ban your IP address so you can never return... still confident? period?
Finchy Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Class - but is that fat bloke with the trolley behind Ron Atkinson? Cue flurry of bets on big Ron. Nah it's only Andy Gray, don't worry.
wurmer Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Yes he did. @StringerSport Ian Stringer Spoken to Martin O'Neil on the phone - "I don't want to talk about the Leicester City job, on or off the record" - draw your own conclusions My conclusion, he's telling Stringer to F-off and go away.
trueblue06 Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Pearson is now fav... http://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/leicester-specials/next-permanent-manager Should I get my money on MON?
Wink Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 He's coming home!! Well done top HAHAHA!! Perfect opportunity to say he isn't interested to a BBC Leicester journo and he didn't... somethings going on!!
blueblood Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 JUST REMEMBER THIS PEOPLE. If Tony Pulis didn't believe in that old bullshit notion of 'you should never go back', Stoke would be rotting away in League One. He didn't, he went back to Stoke, and they're a top 10 Premier League Team in Europe, regardless of the fact that they rely on throw-ins. I think O'Neill is intelligent enough to know that this is an almost totally different LCFC to when he was here last, and IF he is given the assurances, a good financial package, and shown that he truly is wanted, we can definitely get him. If we get him, I'm going on an all day bender, even though I'm meant to be detoxing...
Happy Fox Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 My conclusion, he's telling Stringer to F-off and go away. My conclusion MON is coming home
somebum Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 O'Neill and Solskjaer in for Foxes job Martin O'Neill and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer are among contenders for the coaching job at English League Championship side Leicester City, the club said yesterday. Leicester parted company with manager Sven-Goran Eriksson last week and club chairman Vichai Raksriaksorn said former Leicester manager O'Neill and former Manchester United striker Solskjaer are among candidates to replace the Swede. Northern Ireland's O'Neill is unemployed and popular among Leicester fans while Norway's Solskjaer took Molde to win his country's league title last week in his first management job. "We are trying to find a new manager who understand the Championship [second division] and can bring out the players' potential," Vichai said. With 31 matches to go, the Foxes still have a chance to be promoted to the Premier League, he said. Leicester City's remaining 16 home matches this season will be televised live on NBT 11 starting from Sunday, Vichai said. The first live match will be Leicester v Leeds on Sunday at 10pm. http://www.bangkokpost.com/news/sports/264472/o-neill-and-solskjaer-in-for-foxes-job APOLOGIES IF THIS HAS ALREADY BEEN POSTED, INNIT
