accessory Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 No-one takes over an English lower-league team hoping to make money. Our owners are losing shedloads at the moment, which is why they're so desperate for promotion to the top flight this season so they can make good their losses.
Happy Fox Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Cannot see it being OGS. I'm not averse to him - always rated the guy. He just does not tick all of the Thai's boxes. Well with Fourth official tweet saying about the 'name' it will definitely be either MON or Mark Hughes
whitlock Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 But Top had fallen in love with city years back did he not? I'm sure they would make their money, employing a manger knowing this league and leaving them to it. Don't need to be throwing money everywhere and looking for that 'super star' signing such as Becks!
Trav Le Bleu Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Can we change the name of this thread to, "I Thought I'd Post in Here Because I Have No Grasp Of Reality"?
Libertine Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Well with Fourth official tweet saying about the 'name' it will definitely be either MON or Mark Hughes NYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
whitlock Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 MON wanted it, he'd have it by now, not difficult.
Happy Fox Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 NYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH Are you not averse to what Fourth official is stating or do you think what he is stating is simply bullshit?
I am Rod Hull Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Can we change the name of this thread to, "I Thought I'd Post in Here Because I Have No Grasp Of Reality"?
Libertine Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Are you not averse to what Fourth official is stating or do you think what he is stating is simply bullshit? I just think you're nuts.
ARM1968 Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 MON is 'interested' but I think his demands and all the contractual clauses he wants have made it a tough decision! Same could be said for Hughes - if he wanted it.
whoareyaaa Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 £10 on Hughes 10/1 £15 on MON 25/1 one will do.
inckley fox Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 If we're after a name, surely people like Roy Keane, Steve McClaren, Kevin Keegan, Glenn Hoddle, Stuart Pearce etc. all come into the equation. Is there any reason, other than misreporting and Bert, for us to doubt that it will be Keane?
AndyBrew Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 I think the prediction was 80 pages, and we are nearing that now
Kitchandro Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Fourth_Official Fourth Official @ @aidbyrne they also want a "name" That leaves out Pearson, Billy Davies etc so it has to be either one of MON, Hughes, or OGS And there was me thinking they'd learnt their lesson. Though I find it strange that they would say it's not that important and they want someone with Championship experience, if they didn't mean it, there was no need to say that really.
dannythefox Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 If we're after a name, surely people like Roy Keane, Steve McClaren, Kevin Keegan, Glenn Hoddle, Stuart Pearce etc. all come into the equation. Is there any reason, other than misreporting and Bert, for us to doubt that it will be Keane? No to all of them maybe Keane but we don't want him her all the others are crap Stuart Pearce are you stupid do you think he will leave and England job and Olympic job for us?
Wherethefoxhat? Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Pathetic they want a name. They should want a manager to lead us to the Prem. Plainly obvious the Thais are PURELY interested in making money. Nothing here is football related IMO. Pull their heads out the skies and make the right decisions for LCFC no King ****ing Power.
whitlock Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011  What? Get a man that suits this club and that can do a job. Why does it have to be a super star for?
Thracian Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 OGS is second favourite to succeed sir alex ferguson as well aha whoever we get might not last long if they do well or bad Second favourite to succeed the most successful manager in England and our fans criticise me for wanting him here.
Babylon Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Second favourite to succeed the most successful manager in England and our fans criticise me for wanting him here. No, they they critisise you for championing someone you don't know the first thing about.
Libertine Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 What? Get a man that suits this club and that can do a job. Why does it have to be a super star for? You're right. You're just reading too much into what FO has said. They'll be after the right man I'm sure but if they're a name too, even better. It's not like we know anything about what they're thinking.
Wherethefoxhat? Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 What? Get a man that suits this club and that can do a job. Why does it have to be a super star for? So you seriously don't think that they endeavouring to find the right man to hopefully lead us to the Premiership, in order to achieve both the financial remuneration AND fill the ground of satisfied fans then ?????
Bellend Sebastian Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Susanna Reid is a 'name'. That doesn't rule her out
FallenAngel Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 I'd have no problem if OGS was appointed, i like the guy and i can't think of any real negatives with him apart from i wonder if he would give players like Beckford a kick up the backside once in a while or if he is too soft and nice
whitlock Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 So you seriously don't think that they endeavouring to find the right man to hopefully lead us to the Premiership, in order to achieve both the financial remuneration AND fill the ground of satisfied fans then ????? I really think that the Thais are more bothered about a big name than anything else, of course they care for promotion but I believe, big name is aim one!
