ousefox Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Yes he did. @StringerSport Ian Stringer Spoken to Martin O'Neil on the phone - "I don't want to talk about the Leicester City job, on or off the record" - draw your own conclusions Interesting
m00nie Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Yes he did. @StringerSport Ian Stringer Spoken to Martin O'Neil on the phone - "I don't want to talk about the Leicester City job, on or off the record" - draw your own conclusions just a load more bollox really.. dont actually give anything away...
dannythefox Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Is anyone listening to BBC Radio Leicester MON hasn't ruled anything out according to a conversation with Stringer This is what I've been saying from day one! Last time he said no straight away this time he's said nothing. If I were him and I wasn't interested I would of said no straight away so your names not getting hammered every day by the papers.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Yes he did. @StringerSport Ian Stringer Spoken to Martin O'Neil on the phone - "I don't want to talk about the Leicester City job, on or off the record" - draw your own conclusions Interesting
Happy Fox Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 just a load more bollox really.. dont actually give anything away... Yeah but it reafirms that is something is definitely happening have faith MON is coming home
accessory Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Still the old drama queen we knew and loved. Can't draw any other conclusions from the (non-)conversation with Stringer though..
ARM1968 Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 I've told you all goddamit he is interested. It's not simple though. I think it will be resolved and soon!
wattolcfc Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 This is what I've been saying from day one! Last time he said no straight away this time he's said nothing. If I were him and I wasn't interested I would of said no straight away so your names not getting hammered every day by the papers. Agreed, that was his perfect chance to distance himself from the job and rule it out BUT he hasn't. For me the only logical explanation is that he is coming back! MARTIN'S COMING HOME, HE'S COMING HOME, HE'S COMING HOME, HE'S COMING, MARTIN'S COMING HOME!
Clarkielcfc Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 please let this be happening...maybe he cant say anything as the owners dont want anything being said, or maybe things are still being sorted between MON and our owners. praise must go out to top and co, for keeping this all so quiet, nobody knows for sure!! ahhh the suspense
trueblue06 Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Stringer big news isnt saying alot really. Infact it doesn't say anything at all. Wish some news would come soon!!
Simmo86 Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Should I be getting excited about that statement?
ian the fox Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 My goodness , ive heard hes coming back ................just going for a sit down
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Martin O'Neill you are God I love it, but he wont come. Think of the success he had, and the way we all idolized him.. I just can't see him returning, because of that status he has. Also, I just have a nagging feeling, he would not achieve as he once did. I am happy to remember him as one of the three best managers of my lifetime.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 He's hardly said he wants it, but maybe something is going on. Doubt he will come though.
breadandcheese Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Yes he did. @StringerSport Ian Stringer Spoken to Martin O'Neil on the phone - "I don't want to talk about the Leicester City job, on or off the record" - draw your own conclusions I'm appreciative for any information, but isn't this a bit stupid by Stringer? There is no information here and it is betraying the confidence of a footballing contact.
Candidcamera Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Clearly thinks there's a chance. Come on Leicester sign him up.
Happy Fox Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 I'm appreciative for any information, but isn't this a bit stupid by Stringer? There is no information here and it is betraying the confidence of a footballing contact. How is Stringer betraying the confidence of MON surely MON must have agreed to the conversation.
Walkers Pallet Chauffeur Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Stringer big news isnt saying alot really. Infact it doesn't say anything at all. Wish some news would come soon!! It says a lot actually. In the past MON has always came out within a couple of days and said no. To say that he don't want to talk about it means that 1) He is so fed up of being linked that he just can't b bothered to talk about it 2) something is going on and deals are trying to b made. Can't believe the first one so has to b no2.
m00nie Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Yeah but it reafirms that is something is definitely happening have faith MON is coming home no it dont... stringer always plays things up to get the listeners anyway..
Spudulike Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 I feel like I've eaten a tube of blue smarties
