Ric Flair Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 This hatred for Pearson coming back, is it because his name is Nigel? Everyone know's a Nigel who they hate and what a horrible name it is. Come on, own up. Get it out of your system now before you get chastised forever upon his return.

Kitchandro Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 It's a pretty terrible name no doubt. This must turn into the 'list of annoying/unlikeable people called Nigel thread'. I see your Pearson, and raise you De Jong

Petchy Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Seems to me that the years in-between his previous reign have some what changed people's opinions of him for no apparent reason?

Guest bennytwohats Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Don't hate Pearson, far from it. I just think after spending a year and a half getting away from the type of football he played, getting him in with the set of players we now have is a bit ridiculous. I also think it's ****ing ridiculous that he was forced out in the first place, but ho hum. Mostly I just hope that we're not setting our aspirations at the level of football we played under him, because progress had most certainly been made in that department. I'm open to being proved wrong now he has the players and the resources at his disposal - I'm just not filled with confidence. Still gutted we let Sven go tbh.

If their surname begins with 'Mc' then keep well clear they are the worst
