I'm going to get battered for this, but...

Fight Club.

Sorry, but it's pretentious shit.

And The Usual Suspects.

Even more pretentious and even more shit.

It's alright, buddy. You didn't understand them, we get it.

Don't panic, we'll find you a Steven Seagal film in a moment - sit tight.

;)

Don't know if anyone's said Kindles yet, but I certainly am going to.

Why, what's wrong with them?

25 out of 26 Amazon reviewers gave John Bishop's Sunshine Tour DVD five out of five, and the only one that didn't only did so because they didn't like the swearing. Well I had to sit through the sodding thing yesterday with the in laws and I don't thing I've ever seen such a feeble show. Even they thought it was shite and they're usually easily impressed

Visited Dublin end of November went guiness factory it was superb, drank loads of pints in the boozers over there and very much enjoyed the taste. Tried it when I got back in the high cross and it was rank, never had it before I went dubberz and I usually prefer your ales rather than lager.

An overrated thing I found, 3D movies! Watched tron legacy on DVD last night and it's clearly centred around effects rather than storyline and on DVD you don't feel the effects so what's the point in the shitty storyline?! Argh frustrating I'll never get those 2 hours back

Most films nowdays are special effects only (have you ever watched 2012 :xmasblink:... shite )... The best films are from the 60`s/70`s, real stories, real actors.

I don't think anyone over the age of 10 actually rates them, do they? They're awful

Nah decent enough, but they go for it whole hog - drinks in afternoon, taxi home, taxi to restaurant for early eve meal, fancy bars, fancy club, fancy bars, taxi to home/hotel.

Their money but you're right, anyone who spends £400 on NYE really loves it, or is slightly mental.

Somebody must rate them as they're everywhere. Havent seen one decent film in 3D myself

New Year. Its just a date. I enjoy it but can't get my head around some work colleagues who spend £400+ for one night

That is almost impossible unless copious quantities of Class As and prossies are involved.

Unless they're the sort of tits who order Champagne in bars, even though they wouldn't be able to tell the difference if somebody served them Strongbow in a flute.

I am not a fan of stand up comedy, no. Frank Skinner is alright, yeah. Still not a fan of stand up comedy though.

:o Get out. The door is that way. *points upwards*

When I was of going out and getting hammered age New Year was the big one.

What's it like now? Do you still wear a suit and tie in Nightclubs?

Those were the days!

Bottle of Sol please!

I agree... New Year's Eve. Used to celebrate it more but now it's all just too much hassle and too expensive to bother doing anything special.

NYE - absolute crap. The night so far has consisted of sinking a few pints - two cousins heading down to republic, but at 15 odd quid entrance a complete waste of money, I'll stay in and drink my Christmas presents while watching hootenany on the beeb thank you very much,.
