He manages to sell tickets for his tours and retain a slot on MTW so someone must - if even one person finds him funny then he's over-rated mind. Yes. Bill Hicks is one of the more respected American comedians and this is his way of dealing with a heckler?! erm, I would like to point out that the video is also more than 2 decades old - attitudes towards heckling have changed significantly in that time.

I think it's pretty epic to be honest. He didn't just shout "**** off" he completely unleashed on the woman. And he followed up by mocking himself slightly. And in defence of Hicks, in his native US he had a really tough time, his views were immensely contrary. It's not like going to a comedy show over here. The worst a mainstream comedian over here has to deal with is a few silly remarks from a drunk **** in the audience, firing back a one-liner in response isn't the hardest thing in the world in that situation and most comedians will admit to having "go-to" replies for hecklers, even if they aren't proud of it. By contrast, Hicks took some serious abuse from people whose views he was genuinely challenging. But he gave as good as he got.

So someone can run faster than someone else or peddle a bike quicker or even through a lump or lead further than the next lesbian. Whats more it's us suckers who end up paying for it while a tiny minority get rich beyond their wildest dreams. I would not watch this shower of pointless shit even if they had nude gymnasts holding their peaches open while doing a hand stand ( Oh ok I would tune in for that )
