Callabinho Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 At the end of the day like it or not Dull fans, we do have financial power, more than any other team in the league! And at the end of the day Money talks, even if you tell yourself It won't. I think the £700 million spent in 2011 backs this up.
m00nie Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Where has the million pound figure come from mate? EDIT: Just read it on the other thread too, where has the figure been officially stated? Cheers. was said in the interview with (THERE) pearson
ibbosuk Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Nick Barmby Just on Radio Humberside "Leicester came in with a naughty bid for Cameron Stewart unless they come in with a massive bid nothing will happen" Talk of Cameron Stewart not playing well over the last 2 games and has the bid from Leicester turned his head. Barmby stated " No he has been o.k. in the dressing room" So thats the very latest Quotes from hull city.
Kitchandro Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 I told Hull fans it was just a honeymoon period, they didn't listen.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Anyone got a link to the Pearson interview? Cheers.
brockmyster Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Adam Pearson sounds like a smug twat trying to play games
MPH Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 So Hull have dismissed our £1m bid for Stewart as derisory. Their football director said that the bid must have been for 'his left foot'. They signed him for £300k less than a year ago and he's since played about a dozen games for them scoring once (correct me if I'm wrong). I'm thinking they're maybe getting a bit carried away. Well, they will try and get as much money as possible for him. understandable... I wouldnt be suprised however if Barmby has been told he has no money to strengthen the squad unless he generates his own... Look at the language their chairman AND Barmby are using... they havnt said he is not for sale they have just said the offer is not good enough.
ramadaone Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Hull have a forum ? Why don't they just phone each other ?
bluearmyfox23 Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Hull fans u might aswell fu*k off you all claimed that we had a bid rejected off 3.5m, but no we actually bid 1m !!
Libertine Dream Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Sounds like Stewart will be on his way - head could have been turned, Hull have no money, we do, and there appears to be little other interest.
Dan Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 As if they even had the cheek to think we'd fall for Leicester bidding £3.5mil. Embarrassing.
Happy Fox Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 A hint from his agent about his move to us FootballAgentPM Peter Morrison Who's been where today? Good results for #scfc #nffc & #lcfcamongst others.

bluearmyfox23 Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Hull are bound to say that his head hasn't been turned but I don't believe that I think he could be our player come the next couple of weeks !!
flowwolf Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Hull have a forum ? Why don't they just phone each other ? They don't have phones up there yet.
Happy Fox Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Transfer_Talk Transfer Talk #LCFC Leicester City are set to make an improved double bid for James Chester and Cameron Stewart, it will be rejected by #HCAFC Probably bull shit who knows hey.
m00nie Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Transfer_Talk Transfer Talk #LCFC Leicester City are set to make an improved double bid for James Chester and Cameron Stewart, it will be rejected by #HCAFC Probably bull shit who knows hey. in the radio interview nothing was said about a double bid, just said 1 mill for stewart so above probally just guessing as surely something would have been mentioned

thybluefox Posted 3 January 2012 Posted 3 January 2012 They don't have phones up there yet. But yet they do have the Internet. Go figure.

How can he say it will be rejected. If it was 25million(obviously won't be) I'm sure they wouldn't reject it. You either have to question the way we conduct business though as Hull dont like us, McDermott didn't appreciate our dealings and Maisiela's agent complained about us. Either that or its a way to wind us up, to make us either bid higher or look elsewhere.
