Happy Fox Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Let what go? I've asked one simple question, "How much are your owners worth" and nobody seems able to say? We are not at liberty to say sorry we couldn't be of much help. Of course if you really want to know go to Bangkok.
Simmo86 Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Problem is with our ownership, we're owned by a consortium called Asia Football Investments. So nobody really knows which group of people this is made up of. All we know is that King Power is the face of AFI.
Simo86 Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 But you are a massively wealthy club and we are a tinpot club, according to some posters on here, so I ask again how do you know that? I know exactly how much Assem Allam is worth (give or take a few million) because I have looked at the accounts of his business as of April 2011. Surely with a bit of digging you could find out this information. Aren't you bothered about this? Surely if you are going to make the WE CAN BUY ANYTHING statements you have to know whether it is true or not? The accounts of his business? So you know what his business is worth not him.
StrovolosTiger Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 What is the name of his company? Allam Marine
Fox 4 Life Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Let what go? I've asked one simple question, "How much are your owners worth" and nobody seems able to say? And I asked you a simple question. What is your owners company called?
Babylon Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Let what go? I've asked one simple question, "How much are your owners worth" and nobody seems able to say? Looking at someones company accounts, would not tell you how much they are personally worth. But one part of our owners Businesses turns over roughly $600m dollars a year. In 2010 from what I can see Allam Marine turned over £106 million with profits of £10m. Not that it means anything though as I said.
ithuriel Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Had a quick look see last year, read a little online but did not delve to deeply and personal worth was well over £100million i think, company is worth a lot more, of which Leicester is now basically a part and they have wealthy friends too. That is why no one knows the exact worth though they are reputable since they we're the first owner's to have to pass the new league rules in buying clubs which is why our takeover took so long Leicester matches are shown in Thailand and the team paid a visit there last season so we are a bit like a jewel in our owners crown.
Christoph Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 This thread is embarrassing. It's like watching a bunch of kids arguing about how hard their dad is.
ithuriel Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Thread is no more embarrassing than many others here.
jonlcfc1990 Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 They are worth 2 kazilllion pounds....happy? YES!
Libertine Dream Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 We don't know how much our owners are worth 100%. In fact we don't 100% know all the owners and investors just KingPower who front it all. We know Vichai(chairman) is worth 110 million, that doesn't include KingPower as he is CEO of KingPower, not outright owner. There have been other rumours of Indonesian Oil tycoons, Singha Beer having part ownership, other Thai businessmen involved and even King of Thailand putting money in(highly unlikely). We can't be sure of our exact wealth due to us not knowing all the details and not knowing KingPower's value but when KP could end up liable should something drastic happen at LCFC it seems unlikely they'd mess up their own futures. The 40million spent buying the club, the 15 million spent on playing staff this year and last, the high wages, the top of the range screens, the complete re-branding of the stadium, the 2million spent on training facilities, the 400k spent on a new pitch and the rumoured 300 k spent on a team bus lead us to believe they could be, as suggested, the 7th richest owners of a football club. The worry is we don't know the truth but at the moment I feel safe with them as owners and they won't leave us to become AFC Leicester.
Babylon Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 This thread is embarrassing. It's like watching a bunch of kids arguing about how hard their dad is. My Dad is solid.
GLC Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 My Dad'll beat your dad up Frankie Boyle... "My dad will batter your dad" LISTEN!! "My dad would shag your dad....and your dad will like it"
Babylon Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 My Dad'll beat your dad up My Dad punch a robber wearing a crash helmet and knocked him out... true story!

Happy Fox Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 The Hull City ITK seems to think we will origlambman Originallambrettaman @ @cawseetiger Word in Leicester is that they will bid again at £2m, I still don't think it will be enough to see him gone.
NewquayFox Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 My Dad could beat Chuck Norris up and his Dad Throw Norris... ;0)
DarkTranquillity Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Is this going to follow the 'Maynard Thread Trend' and drag on for the entire window, only to end in dissapointment and a desperate buy on the last day?
Yojoe36 Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Hull will never sell for 2m. They'll draw a line for 6m or something stupid
StrovolosTiger Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 do you seriously not see the contradiction in that? Not really. You see you can only tell the worth when the accounts are released. His company (not including his personal wealth) was valued at £287m April 2011. The figures now are unknown to anyone. They will be known again in April 2012 when it is estimated the company will be worth over £400m after heavy infrastructure investment this year.

There could possibly be other shareholders involved too. The contradiction was you saying I can exactly say how much he is worth, give or take a few million.
