All a bit strange. Hopefully they don't go up. Their owner Markus Leibherr died during the League One season. He has left a legacy fund managed by his family to run Southampton. There is plenty of money in the pot and the obvious ambition is to get promoted. After that the club will most likely be sold.

And it's not like he was signming for us for free is it, our rumoured package was a lot more than S'ton are rumoured to be offering, so money isn't the deciding factor which would make him a desirable character to have around Do Southampton have investors pumping money in? Rangers don't want to sell Jelavic they've proved they don't need the money because we offered them 9 Million West ham 7 Everton 5 but they still owe Rangers for ball so the actual bid is £3.5 why would they sell him for that much less? Makes no sense

It's not more than us it's the fact he worked with Adkins at Scunthorpe and if he goes there he will have a good chance of playing premiership football. I for one cant fault him.
