The Doctor Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Huzzah. Win again at last. One thing though - Please shut the **** up and stop sniping at the ref so much - I'm looking at you Steve & Sol. 100% record in 2012, better than Man City.
James18 Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 GET IN!! A Leicester win and Howard banned, could of got any better?
Simmo86 Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Wooohoooo! Kneejerk time!! Playoffs by February etc etc!!!
Dylan Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Crystal Palace were unbeaten in 9 home games and only lost once at Selhurt this season.... We were always going to win... we only like beating the teams on a decent run. Top start to 2012- keep this going!
Lisburn Fox Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 That was a nervy 45 mins, lets hope this boosts the confidence and teaches the team how to win.
nuttytimmy Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Nice to have the winning feeling back, and good to do so under a lot of pressure too. A badly needed result and those points will come in handy, too. Conclusions.
ousefox Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Quality win. Really does show how shit a manager Sven was though. Signs 2 players for every position apparently but see no sign of Pantsil, St Ledger, Ball, Johnson, Fernandes etc when it comes to the most important time to have strength in depth. Pearson got everything right today. Here's hoping the rest of 2012 carries on like this!
Benji Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 About time Pearson got a bit of credit, both young lads having a great game from the sounds of it.
Bilbo Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Bamba, Kasper, Moore and Kennedy earned us those 3 points
Corky Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Excellent result, Selhurst Park is a very difficult place to go and win, only Middlesbrough had done it in league and cup this season. Howard's red sounded needless but Danns with a goal and assist, Bamba with a goal and commanding performance, Kasper sounded back to his dependable self. Pearson made changes and it ultimately worked.

Pearson got everything right today. Here's hoping the rest of 2012 carries on like this! Fernandes has gone and St. Ledger's thrown his toys out the pram - neither were going to be involved today Edit: And the current caller on RL can shut the **** up - at least Rooney would run and chase, ok then - let's get Waghorn back in the starting line up then.
cc_star Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Good news Kennedy & Moore were great by the sounds of it, which is great news for pressing Pelts & Konch Midfield sounded a nightmare. King appeared to be doing it all with Abe going missing in the 2nd half and Danns completely anonymous for 89mins except for goal. Nuge had a shocker, completely anonymous and Schlupp seems to have no strength This is why we were on the backfoot for too long, both players were deservedly subbed Can't believe Howard let NP down like that, luckily it didn't matter in the end
THEFATBASTARD Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Im so glad the shake up paid off, but a man of howards experience , what a plonker...do we never learn...
leicester4life Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Thought Pantsil had maleria or something? 3-5-2 is the way forward, if Tunchev was struggling and Pearson goes for 3-5-2 again who comes in at centre half? Berner?
shade Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Young is trying to defend Howard, it's getting embarassing now.
cairnsy Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Good but nervy win. Hope the likes of howard doesnt step foot in our team again. He doesnt add anything to the side and just harms the team rather than helping.
Happy Fox Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Good away performance 3 beautiful points, give a lot credit to the defense throughout the whole team, listening to 5 live I would give Kennedy MOM.
BahsonGav Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Great and much needed 3 points. Well done to Nigel for having the balls to change things! 2012 - onwards and upwards!! PS - don't EVER pick Howard again (TOOL!!)
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Great result. Kennedy, Abe, King all sounded good according to Stringer and Young (granted that might not mean much) Happy with the result and I'm not one to look for the negatives straight away but... Steve Howard, you are an idiot. Here's a guy who is meant to be an experienced pro, an example, and in a game where we're obviously clinging on and need everyone trying they're hardest (yes, you too Beckford), he goes and gets sent off for running his mouth. I'm through with him. Passion? More like idiocy. Could so nearly have cost us today and when he offers so little else, he's not worth another chance.
