MikeyT Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 StringerSport Ian Stringer Transfer guru @Fourth_Official suggests goalkeeper Chris Weale could be leaving #lcfc to rejoin Yeovil
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 Gary Johnson has gone back there who will know him from Bristol too.
kingfox Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 Thought Weale would be on his way out, we need a better back up goalkeeper than him. Going back to Yeovil just shows how shite he has turned since his mistakes last season.
MrSpaM Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 Conrad Logan as back up to Kasper no thanks. I'd prefer to have Conrad as back up tbh, he's had nothing but good things said about him since he's been out on loan
Happy Fox Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 I'd prefer to have Conrad as back up tbh, he's had nothing but good things said about him since he's been out on loan Their is a big difference between league 2 and the championship he is shit end off. We need a decent back up goalie.
StanSP Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 Get Stuart Taylor off Man City. He's good enough for back-up, I think. Better than Weale and Logan, for sure.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 Just go for that lad from Royston.. Will Norris was it??
Ric Flair Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 Get Stuart Taylor off Man City. He's good enough for back-up, I think. Better than Weale and Logan, for sure. Why would he want to leave god knows how much at Man City as 3rd choice, to come to us on far less as 2nd choice? Taylor decided long ago that he was happy to not play much, so long as he got wedged up.
Jagdinho Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 Would any keeper really want to move to a team to sit on a bench? Id rather play alot of League 2 football than no Championship football.
Fox92 Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 I'd prefer to have Conrad as back up tbh, he's had nothing but good things said about him since he's been out on loan Yeah, in League 2. That is his level. I am no fan of Weale, but if I had to choose a second goalkeeper between him and Logan, it would be Weale.
ealingfox Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 Would any keeper really want to move to a team to sit on a bench? Id rather play alot of League 2 football than no Championship football. I don't know, quite a few keepers have spent most of their career being back-up i.e Arphexad, Cudicini.
Corky Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 Weale's a fine backup and pre-match warm up keeper.
StanSP Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 Weale's a fine backup and pre-match warm up keeper. Powell and Logan were much better!
lestajigs Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 Powell and Logan were much better! I doubt they were tbh
LCFC BEAST Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 What happened to the 'England's number 1 chant' from our play off season Oh times have changed!
CupidStunt Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 Weale is God. Always looked like a miserable bastard when i saw him, does that make a God a person with a right monk on all the time?
Schlupp Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 Whats with all the Weale hate?Do you forget last season we were chanting his name because we wanted him to play so bad?
CupidStunt Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 Whats with all the Weale hate?Do you forget last season we were chanting his name because we wanted him to play so bad? I wasnt
The Doctor Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 Weale is God. but... Weale exists. *runs and hides* Whats with all the Weale hate?Do you forget last season we were chanting his name because we wanted him to play so bad? No, you were chanting his name, you wanted him to play. I was happy with Ricardo, he was better than Weale and was very harshly treated for doing next to nothing wrong.
CupidStunt Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 but... Weale exists. *runs and hides* No, you were chanting his name, you wanted him to play. I was happy with Ricardo, he was better than Weale and was very harshly treated for doing next to nothing wrong. But to be fair, Ricardo did flap about more times than a 69 year olds prossie's piss flaps At that time we had no decent keeper on hand imo
The Doctor Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 Flap =/= Punch. That's why I'm a crap fighter, and Mike Tyson isn't.
