Pearson, Mills and the headbutt

It's complicated because Mills is a ) captain and b) centre back. You can't have a captain falling out with the manager and getting away with it. If the fall out was as serious as it sounds there could only be one outcome - Mills being disciplined/punished and probably losing the captaincy. His captaincy hasn't been impressive - showing few signs of leadership when it's gone pear-shaped on the pitch. His sendings-off have been a tad unfortunate but still a result of clumsiness and I haven't even seen him organising the defence. By contrast St Ledger and Morgan are in constant conversation between themselves and with Kasper and the full backs. As a result the defence is operating as a unit and though it hardly looks infallible it looks more solid and business-like. In a few months it could be one of the best in Championship and that would be down to the confidence, experience and leadership of the two current centre backs.

The point about the centre back position is that it isn't one managers look to rotate. Even the very top sides with mega squads tend to establish a regular pairing which plays nearly every game. So having lost his place Mills can see it could be sometimes before he gets another chance. Morgan and SSL have earned their chance and are good enough at this level to keep their places. As I said they also have formed a partnership and organise the whole defence - another key ingredient which Mills and Bamba were unable to provide.

So NFP was right to drop Mills and the club captain had no justification for questioning that decision - let al0ne challenging it as aggressively as alleged.

Anyone trying to take the piss out of Pearson or what ever happened should be punished. If that happened to Ferguson they would most likely never play for Utd again.

I've read in a rumour I made up on Twitter that he took a steaming dump in Pearson's kitbag and then pissed in it.

Obviously this is nothing more than a possible rumour but if it is true the strongest action should be taken and the player should be banned from the stadium, the game and the city for life - if not longer.

And Pearson should have seen the funny side so it just goes to show what a potentially miserable twat he might or might not be.

lol

Imagine Pearson trying to handle Balotelli or Tevez he wouldn't last a whole day! lol

He'd never sign them in the first place

Fortunately IMO mate

I don't want that sort of disruptive player at City. Never have, never will

Remember what little Dennis Wise did to the club?

Just about single handedly ruined the whole fookin lot, allegedly...

I like the fact that Pearson typically seems to sign the younger, more sensible players. I think he signs people he thinks he can work with and mould.

I'd hate to be a Man City fan, even with their wealth. And Tevez, I'd want to kick his teeth in for doing what he's done.

I'm happy about seeing the pics of Mills playing for the reserves. With any luck it'll buck his ideas up.

When I was living in Leicester my housemate brought a girl back. Whilst they were upstairs I pissed in her shoes and and tried to take a dump in her handbag. The piss went all over the carpets through the shoes. I guess what I'm trying to say is if you're going to take a dump in a handbag, have a hot curry for lunch beforehand

I'd take both in a second.

I don't compare them or Mills to Dennis W.

And we have taken other headcases too over the years.

Who was...? Never happen in a million years.

When I said "we" I meant this board. Remember he was coming back from injury and the two managers were buddy buddy and we had already got one young player from them and the threads started.

Good job you ain't Leicester City manager then ain't it.

I would have thought you'd seen from this season alone that what the club should have done from the start was go for good lads with a great work ethic.

Like Morgan and Drinkwater IMO.

We ain't winning the prem like that :P

You're all missing the point unfortunately !

Pearson just does'nt rate him .... end off !

Make up all sorts of rumours, allegations or fantasies even....heaven forbid ,but if we could

have found a club to take him in the Jan window(baggage ,excessive wages etc),he'd have been packed off then ! Hence Wes Morgan .

Watford was just the last straw !

Pearson is fickle, just like most of the posters on here.

I'll be very surprised if we end March with the same central defensive pairing we start it. You read it here first!

Or maybe none of our central defenders are actually good enough, or significantly better than the others, I wouldn't say Pearson was fickle, he generally wants to stick to the same team, but he is still not sure what our best team is.
