FrankieADZ Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 as already said, We must applaud the brilliant work done by the emergency services. True heroes in this world who arent praised enough for the work they do,
Super_horns Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 Official statement says he is still "critically ill in internsive care" Hopefully he can make a full recovery as the medics acted quickly to try and save him.
broughtonblue Posted 17 March 2012 Author Posted 17 March 2012 Hope he pulls through, credit to everyone in the stadium who all played their part in different ways
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 Hope he pulls through, credit to everyone in the stadium who all played their part in different ways Noticeably the fans, a credit to their clubs
purpleronnie Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 Noticeably the fans, a credit to their clubs I'm not sure how people expected the fans to behave?
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 I'm not sure how people expected the fans to behave? Any other fans would of booed him for going down untouched... And even to some extent chant 'let him die'... Nothing like this at all at WHL, I think they released the seriousness straight away. Also how Spurs fans change his name
FrankieADZ Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 So glad we live in the age we do in terms of medical technology & such... Still critical stages...fingers crossed he makes a full recovery.
leicesterisme Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 Any other fans would of booed him for going down untouched... And even to some extent chant 'let him die'... Nothing like this at all at WHL, I think they released the seriousness straight away. Also how Spurs fans change his name He went down with nobody around, its not like he's trying to win a free kick is it. Any other fan would have saw just like the Spurs fans did that it was serious.
Guest Bilo Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 He went down with nobody around, its not like he's trying to win a free kick is it. Any other fan would have saw just like the Spurs fans did that it was serious. Like the Forest fans with Clive Clarke in 2007? Plenty of idiot fans out there who would've reacted differently I'm sorry to say.
HEGGSY Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 Sky Sports - Bolton can confirm Fabrice Muamba suffered a heart attack on the field of play and is currently in a critically ill condition. Can't link as I'm on my phone.
broughtonblue Posted 17 March 2012 Author Posted 17 March 2012 Hope he pulls through, credit to everyone in the stadium who all played their part in different ways Not only the fans as has been pointed out, but also the officials, physios, medics, players and managers. All totally professional in an unusual and emotive situation
Unabomber Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 ^Either Gallas or Defoe. Can't believe he was apparently in a stable condition and he is now critically ill Well at least we have managed to narrow it down to Gallas or Defoe!
21st Century Fox Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 The stable condition comment wasn't official though, it was probably Sky jumping the gun slightly from an unofficial source to get the drop on everyone else. Its 100% Gallas.
Guest Bilo Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 It's Gallas. God, this news is awful. Pull through Fabrice.
anotherharboroughfox Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 You can be critically ill and stable. It just means there's no change is his condition. Hope he gets better! A sad day for football.
MC Prussian Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 Fingers crossed Muamba pulls through. The death of Marc-Vivien Foé was already enough for me.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 You can be critically ill and stable. It just means there's no change is his condition. Hope he gets better! A sad day for football. Exactly critical means its serious, obviously, but stable means its not likely to improve or get worse any time soon
