MPH Posted 7 October 2014 Posted 7 October 2014 Wow... is he really that desperate to sell his book that he has to include something like this?
TrentFox Posted 7 October 2014 Posted 7 October 2014 Controversial things like this sell books! He's cnut but he's only doing this to sell more books and make more money! People make careers out of doing the same thing! Just look at that Katie Hopkins! Begs a question about what kind of person buys it if that's the sort of thing they find 'entertaining' ?!
Oxfordfox83 Posted 7 October 2014 Posted 7 October 2014 Wow... is he really that desperate to sell his book that he has to include something like this? It's the equivalent Paris Hilton getting her minge out in a taxi to stay famous. Only Keane is obviously more cnuty. Pathetic.
Dan Posted 7 October 2014 Posted 7 October 2014 Wow... is he really that desperate to sell his book that he has to include something like this? To be fair anyone who this swings towards buying his book is a **** anyway.
TrentFox Posted 7 October 2014 Posted 7 October 2014 Always feel a slight affinity with CC. Not long after that happened, my ex-wife and I were buying a barn to convert in Shropshire. It was 'started' - a few steels in here and there and some efforts at making it weather-proof - but basically a right mess. The guy selling it said the person who was having it converted had pulled out. Turns out it was CC. His bank were no longer prepared to finance it as he was now a 'risk'. Always remember standing in that desolate barn and looking around and remembering that incident at Forest. Easy to forget the day-day impacts of such an event and how he would have to totally rebuild. Must be so hard after such a glamorous career as being a pro-footballer.

Buzzell Posted 7 October 2014 Posted 7 October 2014 One of, if not the biggest, cvnt in football right now. Tosser.
Bamba's Babes Posted 7 October 2014 Posted 7 October 2014 It's not that bad a comment? People feel the need to be offended by everything.
Buzzell Posted 7 October 2014 Posted 7 October 2014 To say he's 'glad' it happened so it takes the attention off him and Sunderland getting thumped 3-0 by Luton Town? Cvntish thing to say if you ask me.
TrentFox Posted 7 October 2014 Posted 7 October 2014 Did you buy the barn? That had a tragic ending, too! Spent 6 months negotiating the deal, getting quotes, speccing it out in every single detail. Fell totally in love with it. Had it valued, mortgage approved. When it canto the crunch, I just couldn't do it as I would have been tied to my ex indefinitely whilst we paid for it. Needed a divorce more than a barn. Funny, but I think of it every week still! Don't think about my ex ever !!!!
ScouseFox Posted 7 October 2014 Posted 7 October 2014 It's not that bad a comment? People feel the need to be offended by everything. he said he was glad a player of his club nearly died because it might deflect a bit of negative attention away from him. pretty out of order.
RobHawk Posted 7 October 2014 Posted 7 October 2014 Begs a question about what kind of person buys it if that's the sort of thing they find 'entertaining' ?! If he didn't release controversial statements like this one, would you even know he was releasing another book? I wouldn't! Therefore its worked. I wouldn't buy his book but the occasional person would, just because its roy keane, its football related, Man Utd related or whatever their reason. Personally, as much as i love autobiographies, there aren't many footballers i would like to read (maybe the off city hero, Walshy etc), but we get enough shitty opinions from ex footballers every week on TV, why would i want to waste my team reading them as well?
Dan Posted 7 October 2014 Posted 7 October 2014 It's not that bad a comment? People feel the need to be offended by everything. Too many do, but it's justified in this case. I've got absolutely no time for sell-outs who will stoop to new lows just to make a bit more money, which is what he's doing here. Total nobhead.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 7 October 2014 Posted 7 October 2014 Never tire of seeing that. An outstanding decision by the club. Still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up with pride because we want to run our affairs like that. I was really proud of the club that day. Wonderful!
VLC86 Posted 7 October 2014 Posted 7 October 2014 It's not that bad a comment? People feel the need to be offended by everything. , you don't half talk some shit.
Fox92 Posted 7 October 2014 Posted 7 October 2014 We all knew what Keane was like, didn't we? One hell of a player though, and I'm certain a player that we'd all want in our teams.
Guest Bilo Posted 7 October 2014 Posted 7 October 2014 I love how Fox92 can find a positive about anybody, no matter how much of a bellend. I swear a post about Ian Huntley would say something along the lines of, 'He may be a murdering paedophile, but you can't fault the cleanliness of his classrooms. He was an excellent caretaker, no matter what anyone says.'

I think you're wrong, I think he'd hate Huntley because he's relatively modern and therefore clearly not as good as the old child murderers from before he was born.

I'm not talking about off the field or whatever he has said, I was talking about his footballing ability.

Whereas I was pointing out the fact that he's an absolute cvnt, a point far more relevant to his character, the main topic of this discussion, than his abilities with a football. He was never as good as half the Manchester United midfield anyway, Scholes and Beckham were always superior.
Webbo Posted 7 October 2014 Posted 7 October 2014 My grandma was always complaining about her head aches until she saw Dr Harold Shipman. She's not said a word about it since.
